Go Rudy! ???
According to Hyperbolic Rudy: "Hillary and Obama are kind of debating whether to invite ( Iranian President Mahmoud) Ahmadinejad and Osama (bin Laden) to the inauguration or the inaugural ball."

UPDATE:
After his policies got many NYC emergency workers killed unnecessarily in the 9/11 attack, the media nominated Rudy for sainthood. Go figure!

He's kind of cute, because he has a lisp and says 9/11 all the time. Besides that, he's friggin' crazy and mean.
HelloKitty09 02/27/2008
Its obvious that the Republican party won't consider my twice-divorced, cross dressing ex-mayor as a nominee. Rudy didn't win any votes with the Bernard Kerik mess, keeping a predator priest on his payroll, and his misuse of public funds to keep his mistress safe. What the hell was he thinking by skiping Iowa?
dkenealy 02/21/2008
NYC pre Rudy bad post rudy great
JimWZinger 02/08/2008
The 911 whore finally had to bow out of his pathetic campaign. His acusing the Democrats of wanting to lose in Iraq when he knows full well he says that to appeal to the war Profiteering in the Republican Party only shows you how sociopathic this exploiter of 911 is.Can we say modern-day-atrocity?
Think about it. He has dismal ratings as mayor of New York, then he EXPLOITS 9-11 to the hilt. What a stench! He was never a great mayor, really, but that 9-11 happened on his watch somehow gives him the right to use it to foster a presidentiual campaign based on bashing Democrats?
And the same bottom-of-the barrel review goes to the perenually drunk Dennis Miller and Bill O'Reilly for supporting this exploiter of 9-11. Typical baby-boomer era atrocities.
Only Republicans exploit this shamelessly.
Tmunsonw 01/14/2008
screwed up communications by placing equipment in the trade center after the earlier bombing...duh!
Astromike 10/28/2007
I gained a whole new respect for him after 9/11
Martha9800 09/05/2007
What a phony. How can you trust this guy after what he did to his former wife. I can't believe people *trust* this guy to be our next president...Then again, look who we have right now.
picsentDOTcom 08/30/2007
might as well run as a democrat
BustinDustin 08/10/2007
Giuliani did a great job on cracking down on crime with his zero tolerance policy, but a president good he would not make.
Webmason 07/28/2007
More of the same. Politician through and through.
mokwella 06/22/2007
what a sleazebag!!! yeesh.
kissmeback 03/31/2007
great job during 9-11
debbla 03/23/2007
dirty as a diaper.
Conservatism 03/06/2007
He has done well in NY and cleaning up the filth that resides in the city. I think he lacks certain principles and I think many right wing evangelicals will not support him. I happen to be one of them.
mindwarp1966 03/06/2007
we need him to take care of the many social problems here in america. i want rudy to solve some social issues such as welfare reform real reform i want to see gangs arrested as urban terrorists.
TStorm2000 03/04/2007
I like Rudy, but do not agree with some of his positions. I appreciate his input into Republican party politics, but don't understand why he's the frontrunner. Should be an interesting election season next year.
Victor83 02/19/2007
I understand that Giuliani did some very good things for NYC. I also understand that NYC is not the USA. As a Mayor only I would give him a 5; but now he is a Presidential candidate. Personally, I am tired of liberals in Republican clothing.
GenghisTheHun 02/19/2007
Cleaned up Big Apple, rose to the occasion after 9/11 and is intelligent as well.
Ben999 02/19/2007
People seem to think he's overrated because he gets so much credit for post 9/11. But he actually did a lot for the city before 9/11. He got all the bums, who were only annoying people, off the streets. I don't think he'd be necessarily a great president but he sure is a good mayor.
MattShizzle 05/21/2006
I know people in this country have a hard time remembering anything before 9/11, but I know some of the things he was doing they were calling him "Benito Giuliani"
Georgie20 05/20/2006
Rudy is one of the greatest leaders in American history. The man is incredibly intelligent, driven , passionate, and no-nonsense. He would make a perfect president.
doobiesNhof 04/16/2006
Mayor yes, president NO.
JohnSpina 04/07/2006
Maybe 4.5 stars because he was a bit vindictive.Still a great mayor who led NY back from the dead. His predecessor was a jerk!Cut crime and made the city livable again. And do not forget 9/11.
oscargamblesfr o 11/15/2005
A cunning opportunist, not part of the far right as far as ideology goes. Really only did what a mayor is supposed to do back in 2001, but was canonized by some.. A possible presidential contender next time around, but he is too far to the right for liberals and not conservative enough for the hard line Republicans, to really gain widespread popularity in my view. Being an ethnic Catholic can still hurt you in the South and parts of the Midwest, albeit nowhere near as much as it used to.Law and order type, as befits his role as a former prosecutor. While certainly not personally responsible for the Louima and Diallo incidents, his get tough on crime attitude didn't help matters. Of course, there's nothing wrong with trying to protect the public, it's part of what government does, but sometimes it leads to disgraceful events like those, too. Personally, often graceless , petty, and vindictive, as evidenced by his exit speech in which he crassly blamed the entire city of Boston for 9/11. Being a native of said city, of course I'm gonna be pissed about that, I'd say the same thing had it been Detroit or Omaha he'd criticized instead.
Dwain 11/02/2005
Vastly over-rated. Another corporate shill.
fluffytuffy 08/27/2005
He never was all that impressive until 9-11 and I believe that is why he was put on this planet, to help people during 9-11, but he would not make a good president, how can any Repub support a man who believes in pro-choice, allowing gays to be married? A man who IMMORALLY lived with his girlfriend while still married?? The guy is a joke otherwise, his wife kicked him out of the mayors mansion, he lived in an apartment with his girlfriend while his non-elected wife lived in the mayors mansion--LOL, if he can't stand up to that, he won't be effective against terrorists. Plus, I wrote off New York when the world was sending them money to help rebuild, to help displaced people, to help get business back in business again, and HIS idea was to then spend New Yorks money on a new basebal stadium, talk about an idiot!! That is why I am GLAD that NY did not get the Olympics, or other large venue stuff now, because obvioiusly they want to collect sympathy money and spend their own money on trivial stuff like baseball stadiums!
GiulianiSucks 08/07/2005
Horrid mayor. Had no respect for the law or the people and would twist and exploit and ignore the laws for his own personal vendetta's.
sue05 08/03/2005
highly overated for no good reason.
GOPmember76 07/23/2005
A leader's leader. Right now, the '08 nomination is his if he wants it, and I think he does.
dragonman 06/16/2005
Made New York better than it was and displayed great courage and calmness during 9/11, a great man. Very few people could have handled that the way he did.
kar54 05/20/2005
hoistman, don't forget good old Barney Frank getting a BJ from a underaged male intern in the capital elevator! Talk about democratic (s)cum.
hoistman 01/26/2005
Have to agree with edt4 man. Yup Baging another old lady on the dinning room table while his wife was sent off to another wing. The gall of the guy going after Hilliary Clinton during the Senatorial campaign, just goes to show how low in the gutter these republican scum really is. Aaaaaah! good old NEWT too was getting the old balls off on his desk on Capital Hill, and then turning around a calling Mrs. Clinton. Another loser.
edt4 01/26/2005
A rank opportunist. He was a divisive, fascistic (and, no, I don't mean that as an Italian slur)Mayor who wasn't fit to wipe LaGuardia's boots. And the way he's treated his ex-wife, the mother of his children, has been pretty low-class.
searoamer 01/19/2005
MAYBE IF HE RAN FOR GOV. HE COULD STRAIGHTEN THIS STATE OUT. WE ARE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE AND THEY KEEP SPENDING MONEY LIKE WE HAD A GREAT SURPLUS. VOTE OUT THE INCUMBENTS
Thorebitty21SD 11/05/2004
He's an honorable man. I went to New York City when he was mayor and he really did a lot to improve the condition of that city. His handling of 9-11 is admirable as well.
jakemr33 11/01/2004
Rudy has shown he is a true leader the way he comforted the nation after September 11th. He is a well respected, honest, hard working individual
evilone 10/29/2004
He now blames troops for missing explosives in Iraq. He is nothing more than a greaseball who has morbidly benefited from the media after 9/11.
Djahuti 10/26/2004
Get out of here! This guy was dying politically and the only reason he gained popularity was that people credited him with keeping New York together after 9/11.He did nothing anyone else would not have done.I give the credit to the CITIZENS of New York, not this dried up excuse for a Mayor.
Chalky 10/08/2004
okay, this bald bastard sucks.....i don't know why you all praise him.....he wasn't a true hero of 9/11.....what the hell did he do....rescue people.....he did nothing.......all you republican slobs belittle bill clinton but also don't forget that giuliani had a mistress and this redneck used to be married to his first cousin.....giuliani should go fight over in iraq if he's really that patriotic....he sucks and if you don't agree w/me then so do you!!!!
vasquezjuan 09/30/2004
wouldn't speak with mothers of dead victims shot by cops on his watch.
blueblitzkrieg 08/28/2004
An attention-seeking media hog that couldn't govern a city if his life depended on it. Cares more about Hollywood than his constituents.
BushyTheTyrant 08/12/2004
Absolutly the worst mayor ever. People who think this man is good because of the 9-11 thing are ignoring 99 percent of his political career. Crime has soared, and innocent people have been sent to jail more often than not. This man is a real piece of garbage. Why i shook his hand after Dinkins, before Rudy became mayor, I do not know. But i wish i would have spit in his face.
louiethe20th 07/30/2004
I think Rudy is very charismatic and is and would be a great leader in the future. He did a great job cleaning up NYC during his mayoralship and the way he handled 9-11 was commendable.I must deduct a star for his being Pro-choice!
LanceRoxas 07/24/2004
Incredible leadership day of 9-11 and days after. Reinvigorated NYC by reducing crime which enticed new businesses to the city and made it safe for the general public, cut taxes which get this- increased tax revenue to the city treasury, he reducing the welfare rolls and just over all was a great mayor. I had the privledge of seeing him on his Leadership tour and was very impressed with his command of the stage, delivery and locution. I have a problem with the inherent contradictions of his public philosophy regarding abortion and gay marriage but as a mayor they did not play a role. (gets only 4 stars for being a Yankee fan...LOL)
LoudKidB 07/03/2004
Good, but severely overrated. Not the best leader, but a capable one. Definately not president caliber.
John McCain 06/28/2004
Not a horrible guy, but still a republican.
mvjoyce530 06/18/2004
What a shame. Lead the city through the initial crisis only to turn his back on it by buying into the rhetoric from the Bush administration. He coulda been a contenda. Instead he's just a bum. Pity.
LadyShark4534 06/15/2004
Giulani can be interesting. However, There are TOO MANY flaws. He cheats on his wife and lectures people on their morality. (Hypcritical.) He lacks artistic taste. He cut back a program for people with AIDS. He advocated racial profiling. His little spat with The Saudi Arabian Prince was inconvienent and irrelevant. The guy had offered the victums of September 11 10 billion dollars! And Rudy says no! So I'm kind of neutral on this. UPDATE: I am not so keen of Rudy's little bratty behavior over the Sensation Art exhibit. He needs to look at himself before calling a great artist like Chris Ofili immoral! Also, I am starting to feel like he used 9/11 as something to enhance his reputation. UPDATE: He is also responsible for the death of Amadou Diallo!
call_it_as_i_s eeit 05/27/2004
Rudy has a clear-cut strategy for success...don a Yankee cap & windbreaker, act like a no-nonsense, morally decent run of the mill guy on camera, declare war on the poor and helpless, prostitute yourself to the high bidders, speak with a lisp and never forget to give a sh*teating grin.
