I was much too young to have been at woodstock, but I've seen alot of footage of the festival. I got say the raw energy and genius and improv in Jimi's set was outta sight!!

Iconic performance, hence the 5 stars, but its not the best thing on the film (that goes to Santana and Ten Years After)

A good performance, but not equal to, among others, the show at The Monterey Pop Festival. Hendrix appeared with a large band- The Experience had folded after a show at a similar festival in Denver about 7 weeks before, though Mitch Mitchell was still with him. "The Star Spangled Banner" has passed into legend though.
