Can't stand her. Never have been able to. I think she is one the most over-rated models of all time. She got lucky and that's it. There is NOTHING about her that is any better (or even as good as) than any other big-name model of her era. She is plain on a good day, and her body is not that great; rather unbalanced actually. She's all hips and butt. And then there's her personality...or the lack thereof. Like nails on a chalkboard to listen to her ramble. Didn't get the attraction then (in her glory days)and still don't.

Cindy is a classic beauty yet at the same time very exotic looking -- very hard to pull off. And I've seen her in real life on the street with very little makeup and she is just as gorgeous. Moreover, she comes across as down to earth and genuinely nice. Her huseband is one lucky guy!!

Ok, Cindy had a big media support and that is why she became the best supermodel. But let' get real. Cindy has an amazing face, but that's it. Sometimes she doesn't look pretty in photos, and her body is arguably supermodel material. Compared to Gia Carangi, who had both perfect face and body, Cindy also lack the strength Gia portrayed in her work. Cindy is beautiful, no question about that. Gia, she was and the first one to make it and no other girl has gotten near her level.

She looked so much better earlier in her career. she's way too think now. Her face is too skinny, I liked it better when it was more rounded. She is still beautiful, but she could/should go back to her "curvey" look.

Never liked her and never will. I will give her 1 star for putting forth the effort of "modeling". She never did have the presence of Christy Turlington or Linda Evangelista. Complaining about her pregnancy just did me in. I was just a kid in when Gia Carangi hit the modeling world wide open. Now, that was someone to be in awe of. I am so sick of people saying that Cindy is the first real supermodel. Girls and boys, it's only Gia! She opened the territory for models, NOT Cindy Crawford! It's also obvious that Cindy was trying her best to copy the late Gia. They may have looked similiar, but it was a long stretch. Gia was gorgeous and raw, where Cindy was nice looking but lacked the attitude to carry it off. Had Gia not left us so quickly there would be no Cindy! Cindy! Cindy! Oh well.....

I didn't even know about the nanny thing till I read it here.Doesn't surprise Me though...most of the people in Hollywood and the entertainment biz are having babies and then seemingly shirking the responsibility...as if it's an acessory or something...face it,look around at how much more publicity they get on the news shows or Entertainment tonight...not surprising... Cindy is pretty, but I must say that her ubiquity works against her. See Cindy here and there and everywhere diminishes her prestige as a supermodel - its called overexposure. Nevertheless, Cindy bears a striking resemblence to the late forogotten supermodel Gia Marie Carangi. Indeed, if you compare photos of the two Cindy looks just like a "Baby Gia".

A bit too much overrated. Back in her heyday when she was the "top" supermodel of the world, there were many other supermodels who were much better looking and with more of that pizzaz than Cindy, such as Christy Turlington. She is also not that damn talented. Don't get me wrong, she is a beautiful lady and she's had lots of success, but, truth be told, she is more like a has been now. She really is overrated and personally, I'm getting a little sick of it. What makes her THE supermodel of all time? Is it just because she objected to removing that ghastly fleshy mole off her face when she was starting? The woman who can rightfully be called THE supermodel of all time will always be Margaux Hemingway. She is the one who started the whole supermodel craze. The term was coined for specially for her.

She's cool and stuff

I used to think "Cindy is the most great model in world", but I changed my mind. In this very moment, there's a bunch of girls much more beautiful than she is, and also, much more YOUNG AND FRESH. "Renew or Die"... so easy.

I'm giving Cindy three stars because she does her job well and seems to have a good personality, but this is the first and last rating I am giving to the Model Category. True, it is a misconception that all models are chain-smoking, shallow airheads but let's be real here, what do they really contribute to society besides making us normal women feel physically inadequate whenever we look at beauty magazines and, of course, serving as fodder for teenage boys' wet dreams??? (FYI If I read or hear another overpaid nymph say how hard modeling is, I will personally start a boycott of every beauty magazine out there so that these "poor, overworked girls" can get real jobs and find out what hard work REALLY is!!!)

Cindy is a role model for all women. Fearless (posed twice in Playboy and married Richard Gere yuck!), beautiful, and independent, she always does things her way. I just wish I had her looks and her bank account!

She was one of the first models of the present genre to exude such a strong sex appeal, but with class...very difficult. Also, she again established a new standard in beauty with her infamous mole. Truly a very striking women with intelligence.

I think Cindy is a great model. What is this talk about her gettin old. The older the fiddle the sweeter the music. She will always be a hot young babe to me. She is a midwestern girl, which is something that I like also. When it comes to being a piece of meat she is corn fed black angus(the best eating you can get) in farm country.
