The Tyra Banks show is boring. There are several other things wrong with the show, but its biggest mistake is Tyra. No matter what the topic is, Tyra always talks about herself. Why doesn't she dismiss her guests and sit in chair with the spotlight on her and just talk for a hour? She comes across as condescending and phony. I love how she made her audience wear their weight on their chest. Tyra doesn't do those weight shows to help women, she does them to make herself feel better. Tyra is the most self obsessed person ever. If Tyra's this narcissistic on TV, I can't even imagine what shes like after the cameras stop rolling.

Her shows are about nothing. Racial issues. No offense but people like her are keeping racism alive. And who wants to wear their weight on their chest? She just wants to talk about herself all the damn time that's why she has a show. And to the comment "why do you watch those shows" because they are freakin hilarious! Tyra is a retarded.

Every time I even catch a glimpse of her I feel the bile flood into my mouth as I see her blinking like a strobe light that has epilepsy. Her feigned interest in other peoples lives and the way even a transsexual child's drama revolves around her and how the world loves her. I hate how she doesn't look bulimic anymore and claims that her healthy figure is plus size and that she brings fat people on her show and pretends to understand their pain.

i think tyra is amazing - she is smart.. she knows all about women and what women can all relate too.. she's real & everyone who can't stand her.. then don't watch her shows.. lol, pretty sure they are amazingly popular & she is very sucessful and influential - i can't believe the negativity about her going on on this message board - if u don't like her.. then why take the time to write about her? i love tyra .. she's truly blessed /w such a successful career & hard work does pay off in the end.. lol, who cares if shes 30 pounds over - just goes to show of how real she is.. i think she is still hot!

She once was really hot, but she has changed (not for the better). Not bad but her TV show is the pits.

Tyra hires the creime De Le creime photographers, fashion designers, consultants etc on her show as "judges" but seriously, she has never taken any of their advice on what they had to say about the girls who were in the running for ANTM. It made me so damn angry, it almost seems she eliminates anyone who questions her knowledge about the little she does know about modeling or if they don't open up to her about how their cat was hit by a train so 16 years later it is somehow still effecting them emotionally. She is the most shallow person I have ever seen in my life, she has all these people on her shows and she attempts to get every freaking guest on ANTM or the tyra show to cry, and if she succeeds she immediately turns the conversation back on her, like if one of the girls on her show was crying about her mom disowning her Tyra would cut the person off by saying "yayuh (head swaying in figure eight)well,ma mum thought 'bout disowin' me once when awe moved out to mow-del in pAris" ew, i freaking hate her man.

Few people can drive stoned...plus it doesn't help that there's no accountability to go with that massive(ly damaged) ego, too. Lord help us, cleanse those of us whose ego problems are so persistent that no matter what we accumulate to feel "worthy" or "successful," it's never enough...and cast them adrift in the ocean of despair so that they can stop ruining the game plan for the rest of us.

I think I speak for a lot of people when I say I admire Tyra Banks. I have never seen anyone so completely selfabsorbed, it doesn't matter what the problem is, somehow it all still ends up revolving around Tyra Banks. I don't care if she is pretty and supposedly smart, the fact remains that the name of the show is perfectly chosen. And I don't care if you do show completely dedicated to yourself but for the love of god be honest about it. Don't try to hide behind hollow sounding phrases. And if you have to keep up the lie that your show somehow makes a difference at least have the guts to actually take a position on actual controversial issues. Saying that you're against anorexia isn't a brave thing, it might be a good thing but it's not a brave thinh. CAUSE WHO THE HELL IS PRO-ANORXIA? So overall Tyra I hope that you wake up one day and realise you're an egotistical idiot

She's been on the cover of Sports Illustrated, a Victoria Secret Model, a super model, an actress, has her own talk show and her own prime time show. She must be doing something right. More power to her.

Tyra makes me ILL! Tyra needs to right check herself when she talks to her guests about anything other than hair. She has about three brain cells bopping around in there and every once in a while you think that she actually might say something profound and then lo and behold it just comes out like a bad impression of Sally Jesse Raffael. She couldn't touch Oprah with a 20 foot pole so to say she is an oprah wannabe is too much of a compliment! She is so freaking DUMB- I can't stand her fake voice or how she tries to make people cry. It's so sad how she reaches for those ratings points and ends up falling off her heels on the talk-show runway.

she sux. i agree with the people who said what gives her the right to judge people in general or as models. yes she has modeled for years and definitely has more insight than the average person...just like a judge with the law or a director to film..but the bottom line is $. she got lucky, her show is popular, and she makes a lot of money. thats her motivation...its definitely not helping women with important issues like self image...her whole modeling show is her pointing out their faults..and not too help them but make an interesting show, and more money...she should definitely not have her own talk show. yeah shes an oprah wannabee and her topics remind me of ricky lake...and for someone so into crtiquing others, reguarldess if shes a retired model, she should definitely keep her appearance as a top priority. gaining 30lbs seems hipocritical. and one more thing, the way she talks is soo annoying. a little too like the way they'd teach you in broadcastng school.exaggerated eye blinking..the way she says "still in the running to become americas next top model."

definetelly hate her shows its just Oprah wanna be...and even in American Next Top Model,i am like... who is she??? nobody care bout her before when she was stil modelling n why she's like playing the expert about giving comment to the young models.She jus obsess !!! Cindy Crawford,Christy Turlington,Claudia Schifer n so on there were Super Model but they're not playing as an expert model....She is just irritating...

Tyra may have gained some weight but she is owning that, and taking responsibility to support larger women as opposed to running from the public eye. Despite reviews that state Tyra isn't 'racey' enough or take the edge is definitely false, she slowly has been exploring topics that have some substance on her show. She is a beginner and deserves some grace, she is working hard to surpass the fake personna of being just a face! To compare to Oprah, how can you compare anyone??? Everyone is real in their own entity and genuine, we all bring something different forth. I question the intelligence of 50% of these comments, so close minded and jaded!! Does anyone want some prozak or what?
