Trashy, absolutely meaningless talk show. Since she draws lots of young people you would think her show would be a positive one. No of course not. Just pocket the $10+million a year and keep putting out trash tv. The is the absolute worst.

She actually had a shot at becoming something of a comedic actress, but I guess decided that becoming a fat, female Jerry Springer was more lucrative.

Ricki Lake is still a good host, even after 11 years of doing her talk show. I do think that she needs to take more of a stand when she does confrontational talk shows. She seems hesitant in that area. When she does fun shows, she's at her best, she shows a lot of energy on them. When she does predictable shows, she's at her worst. I don't hear Ricki's name as much now as in her mid-'90s peak. But I commend her for staying in the talk show arena even when Oprah Winfrey is still at the top.

Ricki Lake is nothing but a fat, self- righteous, know-it-all. She never has a valid point. I would watch sporadically in hopes that one day I would see that she really had some worth listening to. Her audience in the studio are all fake, politically correct lamers grandstanding in hopes of getting on TV. Her so-called experts are ugly and stupid as well and they all seem to think if you disagree with them YOU'RE dumb and wrong. BLECCCCCH!! I hope it gets canned soon.

Should've been off the air years ago. Always flies off the handle at issues that are sensitive to her. For instance if a guy stands up in the audience and makes a slightly sexist comment, she'll start yelling at him herself. Hey Ricky, why don't you sit on the panel yourself then if you have so many buried issues to deal with. I don't think they taught her in Talk Show University that the host is supposed to be neutral.

Ricki Lake is a wonderful actress, and would have had a wonderful career in acting if it wasn't for her talk show. Which is ok, too. I have enjoyed EVERY movie she has been in, and I hope in the future that she will do more, as it is almost certain that the Ricki Lake Show will be cancelled within the next couple of years.

annoying and unbearable. she preys on making her guests and in studio audience look stupid and isn't warming at all unless the woman is overweight with a spouse who's telling her to change. i think it was when she was pregnant with her first child that made me dislike her rude display of mood swings toward the audience turn me off from her. she boasts all the time that she's a millionaire who lost her virginity at nineteen to anyone who'll listen, she should just do everyone a favor and leave the air. i loved her when she first came out, but now she just gets under my skin 'go, ricki go ricki...please go!

This hypocritical man-hatin whale (or should I say man-eating whale) is the worst excuse for a talk show host I have ever seen. Always takes the woman's side and never cares about her male guests except to insult them. Ricki is an insult to all of womankind and I urge her fans to boycott her show for the reasons I mentioned above. Isn't it amazing this pathetic excuse for a woman has a higher overall rating then Jerry Springer. Jerry's show may be trashy, but at least he has the balls to admit his show is what it is, while Ricki continues to delude herself into thinking her show is a public service. LOL, yet so sad.

Ricki Lake is a grandstanding fat little gnome. Last April I ran encountered her at Union Station in Washington, DC. She kept looking at me as though to say "What's wrong? Don't you know who I am?" Not so much don't know, Ricki, as don't give a damn.

I think Ricki and her show are all right, she's had some shows that have actually been a little interesting. I'm sick of seeing all those whining teens on her show though, who don't know who the father/s of their kids are etc.

Ricki Lake is the worst talk show host. Everyday she has recycled topics such as DNA testing, love triangles, and rebellious teens. Sometimes she would give her guests a sympathetic look. But it is fake, Ricki couldn't care less about her guests. Another thing that bother me is the stupid doorbell. It is a lame way to introduce new guests.

She has a quick wit and can joke around about herself and certainly about her guests. When necessary she will ask her guests a pertinent question that needs to be asked. Ex: To a woman who had slept with her best friend's husband, Ricki basically called her out and said she didn't know how to be a friend. Her shows are fun. She gets her audience involved. Its not surprising that her show is approaching 10 years on the air. Go Ricki, Go Ricki! :)

I think she is an alright talk show host but the thing I don't like about her is when the guest look like there as stressed as they can be she will take it to another level and keep on pushing the subject I mean if the talk show was real she would care about the feelings of her guest. Say some girl found out her boyfriend cheated on her and she's cryin her ass off Ricki Lake whould have the nerve to say "CAN YOU BELIEVE YOUR OWN BOYFRIEND CHEATED ON YOU, HOW DO YOU FEEL NOW THAT YOU KNOW YOUR MAN SLEPT WITH SOME OTHER GIRL"? I think she doesn't take her guest into concideration when she does her talk shows, I'm mean if these talk shows are saposed to be so real she would at least have some thought into how her guest would felt if she said something like that...I know it would hurt my feelings,but I don't think ricki lake is real!

Her past films convinced me several years ago that she's actually a pretty decent actress. So that poses the big question; why would someone, with even half her talent, decide to join the ranks of the scum sucking Springer-esque talk show hosts? Aside from an inflated paycheck, what kind of satisfaction could there be in assisting the mentally deficient and culturally challenged with new ways of making public spectacles of themselves? Live up to your potential Ricki - concentrate on the footlights not the dim bulbs.

Too bad we can't award a "minus" rating - she is WORSE than Terrible!! How this no-talent cow can actually be sought out for a movie role, or anything else, just goes to prove old saying that there's a sucker and a dumb a** born every minute. And they're all Ricki fans.
