02/17/2008 | Their music is really cool..l loved them since HighSchool (BRASS MONKEY). Their music is kick-a** and they support a place close to my heart in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. 5 Stars plus for guys who make some awesome music and take care of the cats and dogs in NYC. I know this is to rate music only and I'd still give them 5 Stars, but they deserve more than 5 Stars for the work they do on behalf of others.

11/08/2006 | These guys were masters at sampling music and importin' it in their songs. Thats why their older stuff is better, but thanks to new copyright laws, musicians arent allowed to sample has much music as much anymore. I've downloaded a bunch of their songs of limewire, im a big fan of theirs. The Beastie Boys are greatness!!

11/03/2005 | Their nasaly and whiney voices are very annoying-but the music can be brilliant.I don't care for their earlier stuff-but a few years back they put out an instrumental CD called "The In Sound From Way Out" that is nothing short of amazing.That release I'd give 5 stars to anyday!

05/26/2005 | This is raw hip-hop. Someone said Eminem raps better ? Ya needs to hear Eminem's Encore where he singing like a little bitch, half-the-time sounding like Ashlee Simpson sucking on helium. At least these guys got popular without sacrificing their hard sound. If you don't believe in the Beastie-Boys, just see them live and trust me, you will be converted.

02/29/2004 | The Beastie Boys were a good band. They had a feel-good attitude that embodied their sub-genre of rap. They were a few white Jewish kids that were trying to bring rap to mainstream suburban America. They succeeded at this and deserve 5 stars for their commendable work on the albums Licensed to Ill and Paul's Botique along with the inception of two perennial teenage favorites; Fight for Your Right (to Party) and Intergalactic Planetary. Their adoption of the 'Free Mumia' campaign is one of their most controversial moves. Give it up for these Brooklyn kids.

03/02/2001 | I am a NEW fan (B-Girl) but i am really into their music. It's old school but also with a new millenium twist in their beats. I just bought the new cd called BS2000 and can't wait to blow out my speakers with it. Ad-Rock is so good at rapping and he is also a hottie! I give them 5 stars but if it were possible id give them more than that. Can't wait till the next concert! Im there beasties.
