04/28/2003 | The DOL is important to ensure that everyone gets the minimum amount of pay for doing their jobs, and for restricting certain forms of child labor. It is the job of this Department to move people from Welfare to Work, which they did very well during the Clinton Presidency. The DOL is necessary in this New Age.

01/03/2003 | Child labor issues should take into account specific circumstances such as family income and education vs. television time. Minimum wage laws should not disrupt the free market economy. The consumer price index and unemployment statistics information collection should continue. Disability employment is a Health and Human Services issue, and military-to-civilian transitioning is a non-issue, especially in the midst of institutionalized homophobia. I guess i still don't really know enough about OSHA to form an opinion. I dig those klunky yellow books though, whenever there's no Internet access.
