A queen of the blues, her voice has such an amazingly beautiful range and tone. Few songs come close to the beauty of her version of 'At Last'.

Take a record like "Out of the Rain". The lady's heart breaks as she sings it, literally. She feels every ounce of the emotion and voice quakes with passion. A lot of people can be taught to hit the right note and pitch and all that stuff - what Etta's got can't be taught. She sings it the way she lived it. It's pure. It's sentilating. It's better than anything on top 40 radio in years.
