He is a good musicain but not quite right in the head. Today, he just admitted to snorting his father's ashes.

"He was cremated and I couldn't resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow. My dad wouldn't have cared," he said. "... It went down pretty well, and I'm still alive."

A true rock and roll legend! He's not politically correct. He just says what he wants. Musically of course he's incredible. He's very responsible for the Stones staying together all these years.

This guy has a major attitude problem. After Princess Diana died, He got up and shot his big mouth about how we shouldn't be sad because she was just a "blonde"! How stupid and idiotic of him! Apparently to Mr. Richards, Being blonde makes you sub-human. He's been smoking too much marijuana. I think his brain cells died long ago.

He is a really good guitarist, but his drug/tobacco use really affects his appearance and makes him less of an admirable person to me. His songwriting teamwork with Mick is legendary. The Stones are one of the best bands ever.

As long as I'm invited along with Denis Leary to smoke this guy's ashes, I really could care less about him. I think he's an oaf.

I agree with Rebecca. Keith is a bit too stoned to be a top-notch guitarist. But The Stones' image wouldn't be complete without drugged-out Keith strumming his guitar in the background. He is a superb melody-writer, working perfectly with Jagger's controversal lyrics, and I do enjoy Keith's blown-out sounding voice.

Although Mick Jagger is generally associated with being the leader of the Stones, for most true fans Keith Richards is considered to be the driving force of the band. Most people appreciate that he is a genine master of the creation of rock 'n' roll guitar riffs. However, he is very much underrated as a singer and a songwriter. In fact, in his schooldays, Keef was a choirboy, and he actually sang for the Queen at Westminster Abbey! To get a good idea of Keef's abilities, his solo albums: "Talk is Cheap" and "Main Offender" are well worth listening to.
