George Jones is a legend, and should be in the top five of this list. "He Stopped Loving Her Today" is one of the best songs ever recorded.

A little older than most country singers, and a whole lot wiser. He has been through it all booze, failed marriages, career slumps and hard times, but the music just gets better. When George sings a song about cheating and drinking, you just know he has been there and done that.
