Why 3.77 stars for her? She has an incredible voice, she's pretty, and she has a sweet personality! All of my friends loooove her. When I get a Martina McBride cd I'm never upset.

She's a great vocalist, possibly the best female vocalist in country music today. She sings traditional Christmas songs better than just about anyone. But the problem is her song selection. Unless she's singing covers or traditional Christmas songs, I just don't like the songs that she sings.

In my humble opinion, Martina has the best pipes in the business. I've been a big fan since the first time I heard her belt out "The Time Has Come" way back in '92. Oh, by the way, did I mention that she is VERY easy on the eyes...?

I have to agree with MM. I first saw her perform opening for Garth Brooks years ago. She used to sell T-shirts at his concerts. She is heads above all the other female artists. But the new song by LeAnn Rimes is awesome. Check it out.

Martina...wow...where do I even start? First, she has an amazing, powerful voice..one of the best voices I have ever heard. She has so much range, as you can hear in A Broken Wing and Where Would You Be. I hear A Broken Wing, and I'm like Wow, this woman can really sing. I really love her music. She sounds a lot like Faith Hill, and I used to get them confused. Faith has a nice voice, but not as good as Martina's. McBride is one of my favorite country singers...she is truely captivating.

A mature artist tackling mature topics. A steady-growth career has put her at the helm of the country music industry and is heralded as the most significant female vocalist today.

Everytime I hear the song "Broken Wing" that last note runs shivers down my spine, its absolutely incredible. She has the best pipes of any country singer the mainstream country today.

One of the true great all-around female country music artists. She's extremely beautiful for one thing. I think that she has one of the most beautiful voices present on the radio today. A countless line of her songs have been among my favorites including "Independence Day" (espescially when she performed it following 9/11), "I Love You", "Concrete Angel", "Where Would You Be?", "Whatever You Say" and "Love's the Only House". They were all great songs, and "Independence Day" is one of the few songs that brings out the patriot in me every time I hear it. I also loved her hilarious music video to "When God Fearin' Women Get the Blues".

AMAZING!!! Martina McBride is the Queen of Modern Country Music. She shoots the best music videos there is, she chooses the best written songs to sing, and she has the best voice out there. It is a very powerful instrument and Martina uses it really well. She is able to sing both happy songs and social issue songs, equally excellent. All her songs are great, but the ones that really stand out are "Independence Day," "Whatever You Say," "Love's the Only House," "Safe in the Arms of Love" and the breathtaking hit "Where Would You Be." Keep entertaining us Martina!

Excellent... Her song, 'Where Would You Be' is so super.

Not afraid to sing a controversial song. She says what she wants to say and she doesn't care who knows it. She has the most powerful voice in country today. When it comes to sheer vocal strength and ability, I rate her right up there with the late great Patsy Cline.

Ther's something about this woman that appeals to the outsider and the misfit. Like Trisha Yearwood, McBride follows her own road to success and echoes the cliche, "To thine own self be true." She is a delightful singer and her song, "Independence Day," reverberates in my conscience whenever I hear the song played. She may never win popularity contests with mainstream country; nevertheless, she is unpretentious and tells it like it is. I respect that (and even find it a bit sexy). Keep up the good work Martina!

The BEST there is!

The first time I ever heard Martina McBride sing in concert was in 1993, opening with Garth Brooks. I'll never forget what a great voice she has. Since then I have been a faithful fan. I have all of her CDs and love her bluesy/country sound. (Her earlier CDs are more bluesy than her newer stuff, although I like it all.) I think my favorite CD of hers is Wild Angels, because it has some of the more folksy/rockabilly-type songs on it, like "Cry on the Shoulder of the Road" and "Two More Bottles of Wine". I will also never forget seeing Martina sing a duet with Clint Black, the song "Still Holding On", on a country music awards show a few years ago. Clint did OK, but the audience was FLOORED by Martina. She nailed every note and ended up getting a standing ovation. I was so happy for her. Putting on a Martina CD is like hearing an old friend's voice over the telephone - always welcome, comforting and cheering. I will continue to buy her music just as quickly as she can produce it.

what a voice, i'm not suprised if one day she decides to sing outside and the whole world hears her.
