Patty Loveless had some great music several years ago, but we haven't heard much from her recently. I'd like to hear some new stuff from her, and my guess is she is still recording, but that radio just isn't playing her music anymore.

Loveless is the true pride of eastern Kentucky; Loretta Lynn is a has-been, Billy Ray Cyrus is an as*hole, Dwight Yoakam deserted the commonwealth long ago, Halfway to Hazard isn't big yet, and the bluegrass guys don't bring the recognition of the main stream country performers. Loveless has a distinctive tone and delivery, and the versatility to do conventional country or bluegrass.

Patty, YOU are "THE QUEEN". I have had a total crush on this woman from the first time I heard her before I had even seen her. "If My Heart Had Windows" was the song. Totally blew me away! From there it only got better. By the time "Mountain Soul" rolled out, I was totally devoted, but that album made my life! To hear Patty's soulful cries on that record just melted me into mush. I love how she has blended her music styles on her latest album, "Dreamin My Dreams". Patty, if ever you are ready to move on to another man, PLEASE let me be the one!

Sara Evans and Patty Loveless are #1 and #1a as far as country singers go, male or female. Outstanding vocalist and easy on the eyes.

Just saw Patty in Renfro Valley, KY (6/18/05). Her show was AWESOME!! Her strength (besides her vocals) is that she highlights the music (and her band) and not herself. Her concert has a real intimate feel to it and she really gives a lot of respect and recognition to the musicians. Afterward, she graciously signed autographs and posed for pictures. She is the REAL DEAL!

Distant cousin of Loretta Lynn, and you can certainly hear it in her vocals! Whether it's traditional or contemporary Country she singing, it's as pure and rich as silk! And you haven't heard ANYTHING if you haven't heard Patty sing bluegrass...simply sit back and enjoy the ride of one of the industries most incredible artists!

Patty's the ONLY country singer worth listening to....you will NEVER find another artist who cares about her music as much as she does! If you want music with passion.....she's the artist for you.

I could give a rat's behind about fast food style country music, or Patti Loveless. I feel, however, that she should stick to music instead of trying to help the cause of stomping on my rights by endorsing these seatbelt laws on TV commercials. Now she's on my list. Sometimes people die because of the seatbelt, and I don't want the law or some stupid country singer making life decisions for me. I'm not a radical, but I recently got a ticket for not wearing my seatbelt, and now it is my job to fight this law, and Patti Loveless needs to step off my sh*t!!!

If you appreciate TRUE country music - this is definately an artist you want to check out. She sounds amazing on the soulful country ballads - you can feel the sadness dripping from each note. As for the uptempo stuff - she can belt them out with the best of them. A wonderful live show - a voice that is clear and fabulous!!!

Patty Loveless is a very fine vocalist, and you always feel like she means what she is singing. She has that raw edge to her voice, and it has a kind of moaning, longing quality about it, like someone who has been through a lot of heartache.

I can't believe Patty Loveless is rated as low as she is. She brings an authenticity to her songs that is lacking in many of the recent country releases. One of my favourites.
