I enjoy his humor when he is on it. However, my personal opinion has changed. My wife works for a company that hired him for a corporate event (at a considerable amount) and he was less than polite. Essentially, he took the money and ran, making his appearance and speaking what was scripted. His improvisational skills have either eroded or he just didn't feel like showing up. His attitude caused stress and that stress was brought home. I'd like to see him get Punk'd so that people could see his true colors.

An American treasure. His standup work is very funny and due to his success in the movies we never get to see his live act anymore. I have enjoyed many of his films and his work on the Oscars is very good. You have to admit he has done very well for such a short guy with relatively average looks. Keep up the good work Billy.

hate him with a fiery passion. An insult to all the great jewish comics that used their ethnicity to get laughs.

Great, especially at the Oscars!

Billy and Steve are the best Oscars hosts since Bob Hope! This year's Oscars skit was hilarious!

Did a great job with the oscars this year maybe he should alternate years on and off just to break up his brand of comedy a bit though

Would rather sit through a root canal.

I have never seen Billy Crystals actual stand up shows, but he was AWESOME in Analyze This, and Analyze That.

Tiresome and irritating. Stale old neverchanging jewish schtick, as outmoded and passe as the Borscht Belt. His movies are even lamer than his attempts at off-the-cuff "humor." This new breed of comics really don't understand the theoretical underpinnings of humor, and as a result, they all practice lame imitations of comedy that are either vulgar, childish, idiotic or overbearing.

Comedy just seems to be an innate part of this guy's genetic makeup. Like Robin Williams, you don't have to think very hard to imagine that he was cracking people up long before he entered show business. With his shrewd impressions and original characters he was one of the strongest talents to emerge from the post-original SNL cast. He has also done well in his movie roles and will probably go down in history as one of the best, if not the best, Academy Awards hosts.

Billy Crystal has had only one sucessful thing in his life, and that was hosting the Academy Awards. That was the only did that he did well in his life, except for an occasional good skit or two on SNL.
