Appearing in homemade, Super 8, black & white, gay porn films does not an actor make.

I'm having a lot of trouble understanding what qualifies J. Edgar to appear on a list of actors and actresses, unless its in honor of his long time impersonation as a responsible law enforcement official. I did a little research, and I don't see any films that he appeared in. Although it occurs to me that he does bear some resemblence to Ernest Borgnine, and perhaps his cinematic career was under that name. I gives me some pleasure to think that J.Edgar might have been the star of McHale's Navy, played the violent Dutch in The Wild Bunch, or got eaten by rats in Willard. Sigh.... Probably not....I'll have to make do with a fine parody of the T.S. Eliot's great poem, The Lovesong of J. Alfred Prufrock. Titled, the Lovesong of J. Edgar Hoover, it was written by Doug Kenny and appeared in the defunct National Lampoon magazine some time in the 1970's. Here is a small taste of it.We'd better go quietly, you and I. When the evening is smeared against the sky Like a witness before a House committee; We'd better tail each other through the streets The undercover beats Of stakeout nights and Mafia hotels And restaurants that front for Mob cartels: Streets that follow like a DA's argument Establishing intent To overwhelm you with a leading question... Oh, let's go and bust a traitor We'll pick up the warrants later The agents call and call again Talking of Daniel Berrigan
