I saw his stand-up back before he had a TV series, and it was very funny, although not particularly challenging. He dumbed down in a big way for TV.

Ok I guess, not real funny.

He thinks he's a mechanic that tells jokes. The mechanics I know think He's the joke.

A man's man comedian. Saw the HBO special. Very funny stuff the first time around, but not as funny on repeated viewings. Home Improvement was a great series.

not impressed. "'cause men are pigs and know about tools." get a life

Not funny in the least. That growling of his got very old. How his show lasted so long is beyond me. He is the voice of all the testosterone-driven males in society(Ones not incarcerated).

Great on Home Improvement and the Toy Story films.

Never was particularly enamored by his schtick. Tools just ain't funny. You want funny tools, check out Jackie Mason's comparison of Jews and Gentiles trying to fix their car.

Home Improvement was a funny show but they could have done so much more with it. Tim carried the show and was always very funny but the formula got old after a while. The Santa Claus was his best movie, the rest are mediocre at best. He should try going back to stand up where he started.

Not a bad comedian at all. Stand-up acts are pretty good and he was awesome in Home-Improvement.

Awful. Never liked Home Improvement. Unfunny, outdated, and lame.

Home Improvement was a pretty good show for network TV. His movies have been pretty lame. But I have seen his stand-up act and it's brilliant. His timing is impeccable and he really has a feel for working the audience. It's too bad he became so popular because he's been commoditized, and that process reduces a comedian's vitality.

To be a comedian, don't you have to be, you know, a little funny or something?

Love him, great physical comedian.

He was great on "Home Improvement" and does some hilarious stand up stuff. I'm not sure his place is on the big screen. With the exception of his great character voice overs in the Toy Story features, most of his film work has been very bland. But, I wouldn't be surprised to see him back on television one day.

I don't find him very funny. I didn't like Home Improvement or any of his movies, although he was great in the Toy Story movies.

This guy takes being a man to a whole other level. I used to love his shows where he created the "Man's Bathroom" and the "Man's Kitchen." He's classic and is a very funny guy.

He was a good comedian in his day. Lately, he has gone downhill. I liked his early comedy. During this time he was not a family oriented comedian, but used a lot of cursing, which I sort of like.
