Love them,a lot of great music and good times listening to them at concert.

Sure, they've got several good songs. My high school marching band did a whole season show, and went to several contests, with all Beatles music. That said, I don't actually own any of their music or listen to it on my own, but I do enjoy hearing their tunes come up on the radio.

Intelligent band, varied musical interests and talents, and iconic in musical/pop culture. Very influential. Their career started with a Pop sound, filled with hooks and catchy melodies, had evolved into a more diluted, emotional sound, even dabbling in "psychedelic rock" and even more ambient, minimalist ventures (Come Together, yeah?)

Their career path reminds me of Radiohead's, or rather, vice versa.

Their influence is so great that you can point it out in almost any modern band. However, not timeless. In fact, it's become "Trendy" to listen to them even though the hipsters weren't around for their music. It's kinda like being interested in classical music to make yourself look musically sophisticated. But what are ya gonna do.

Talented band, but for me, it only holds novelty. Wouldn't listen to them often nowadays.

John, Paul, Ringo, and that other guy, on yeah, George Harrison. Yes, I love Yellow Submariine, Stawberry Fields Forever, and Eleanor Rigby. My faves.

When they were new and I was young I was such a snob, that I would not prefer anything to classical music.

Later I came to like and appreciate their music quite a lot.

The world began changing - for better and/or worse  - with the rise of rock'n'roll (Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bo Diddley, Hank Ballard, etc.)... then there was schlock rock ( Fabian, Chubby Checker, etc.)... and  American kids got turned off and turned on to folk music, and then came The Beatles who turned the folkies onto Rock'n'Roll and then pissed all over it with their psychedelic English Music Hall album, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

The Rolling Stones had more hair (and more class); The Pretty Things had even more hair; and I had more hair than the lot of 'em.

Whether or not "they were the most important people in the world" is debatable, but they sure got a lot of attention..

Talking bout my generation...sound track of the later boomers.

Without a doubt: one of the most influential and groundbreaking rock artists of all time.

It is intresting to hear the Legendary Rock Band's famous and hit songs received a lot of Grammy awards.

Love 'em, but be advised that marketing research shows that people will willingly remain on hold longest if the "music on hold" is the Beatles. If you heat Beatles music on hold, hang up, get an operator or real person, and save yourself some time.

My son's middle name is Lennon! To each his own though, I love them and couldn't fathom why ya wouldn't, but some people like to bitch about everything : )
