05/08/2008 | They were a punk band through Dude Ranch. Enema of the State and Take off Your Pants and Jacket were still okay. Their last album was terrible though.
Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker (and Scott Raynor)are cool
Tom DeLonge (however the fuck you spell it) is a fucking douchebag and sucks worse with AVA (listen to him sing live with them. Far inferior to his work with blink)

08/11/2003 | I like Blink 182. Obviously their music is not complex, innovative, original, or mature, but it's not supposed to be. Blink 182 are all about making music that is fun, fast, catchy, and often humorous, and although they're not exactly at the same level as Green day, they still do it well, unlike the God-awful copycat bands that popped up after them (like New Found Glory, Good Charlotte, and Simple Plan), who just plain suck. As for the whole punk thing, well I personally wish we'd go back to the days when "punk" was considered an insult. As far as I'm concerned, punk has always been an attitude rather than a genre of music, and I think the whole Punk category on RateItAll should be merged into the Alternative category since most of the "punk" bands basically fall into that category anyway.
