Really great band. Their older stuff such as music videos are pretty hilarious. I personally like their most recent self-titled album. The songs on that album are very catchy.

They were a punk band through Dude Ranch. Enema of the State and Take off Your Pants and Jacket were still okay. Their last album was terrible though.

Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker (and Scott Raynor)are cool

Tom DeLonge (however the fuck you spell it) is a fucking douchebag  and sucks worse with AVA (listen to him sing live with them. Far inferior to his work with blink) 

better than green day by a mile and pretty funny too,i didn't like everyone of their songs but enough.fave:growing up

blink182 are really good mostly their old stuff though...listen to their older stuff and you'll see what i mean they are pretty good but i guess its because i'm into that type of music...

Some of their songs (I Miss You) get stuck in my head on occasion, but they really aren't that great.

They're a cutesy-poo boy band with guitars. They are N'Sync with tattoos. I'm not here to criticize them as not being 'punk' enough, because that's totally beside the point of just what is wrong with garbage like them.

I love every single one of their songs. They are hilarious!

I like Blink 182. Obviously their music is not complex, innovative, original, or mature, but it's not supposed to be. Blink 182 are all about making music that is fun, fast, catchy, and often humorous, and although they're not exactly at the same level as Green day, they still do it well, unlike the God-awful copycat bands that popped up after them (like New Found Glory, Good Charlotte, and Simple Plan), who just plain suck. As for the whole punk thing, well I personally wish we'd go back to the days when "punk" was considered an insult. As far as I'm concerned, punk has always been an attitude rather than a genre of music, and I think the whole Punk category on RateItAll should be merged into the Alternative category since most of the "punk" bands basically fall into that category anyway.

Ok i Got to lay down the sh*t here, i like a lot of mordern punk rock bands, like greenday, blink 182, and bands like that. Now this band i know isn't all that good in general. I play bass and for the most part Mark's bass lines SUCK. They're simple. But They just sound awesome and everyone talking about the sex pistols and what not, i think they need to let the past go times change along with music.

Boring!!!! had a couple of catchy rifs but they don't even have that anymore. they proved that you don't need any talent to make it in music anymore, just a good video!

Blink rocks!

Blink 182 peaked at Dude Ranch. They died when they succeded at drawing in a larger boy band audience by running naked in their video -What's my age again?" and even mimicking boy bands in their video for All the Small things. After dominating the request lines they thought people would hear them out and take their beautiful track Adam's Song (The only good song on Enima of the State.) seriously and realize the message and be just as popular as their other two chart toppers. Of course the depth of this song went over the TRL kids heads and was lost. On their new album Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, they seem to be getting back to form with The Rockshow and Stay together for the Kids. A few years back I would have given them four stars. Unfortunatly these guys are slipping,falling and trying hard to get up.

I LOVE Blink 182. They are sooo cool. They cuss a lot about that's not so bad. Actually, I just got their new CD " Take Off Your Pants and Jacket" and I actually like the songs better with the cuss words!!!! They are my FAVORITE band and my favorite song, right now at least, is "Dammit". Out of ALL the songs I've ever heard, that's my favorite!! Or Dick Lips. I would really recomend that you get any of their CDs, but my personal favorite is The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show. It's one of their concerts and they say jokes and everything. It was only for a limited time that you could get it, and for all you guys out there that did, you should be enjoying it!!! BLINK 182 RULES!!! Also, it's good for people who don't want to go TOTALLY punk, but just a little bit(like me).

The lead part of the "Blink 41-Sum 71-SR 182" connection has released 2 albums that sound exactly alike. The innovators of Pop Punk in the mainstream, Blink has fallen into the ranks of lesser bands such as SR 71 and now sound identical to every other Backstreet Boy lyric singing, guitar holding, suburbanite "punk". You fell in love with a girl at the rock show? Yeah, so did AJ, Nick, Howie, Bryan and Kevin on thier first record. Blink 182 deserves a 0 for failing to maintain any sembalence of originality and eventually becoming a rip off of themselves.
