This dude can ROCK when he wants to.He's also got massive pipes! I saw him live,and he could still deliver the goods in 95! A hugely under-rated singer.

He's good. I enjoy his covers and he made a few original tunes also.

A LOT of people hate Joe, and some dislike him because for the most part, he does other people's tunes. Yes he's made some crap, but he was very good up through the Mad Dogs and Englishmen period, he creates some novel interpretations, and he is one of the best white soul singers period.

The dude had hits in the 60's, 70', 80's and 90's.

Never got it, never will. Cocker didn't add ANYTHING substantial to the covers he did, and all he did was covers. Pointless career. Sad.

He was one of the many interesting Woodstock performer. His cover of "With a Little Help from my Friends" is really good as performed on The Wonder Years.

Great powerful gravely voice. His performance was surely one of the highlights of the original Woodstock.
