The most entertaining thing about Limp Bizkit was that original guitarist Wes Borland wore a mask to perform because he was ashamed of the band he was in. Borland is now playing with Marilyn Manson, a very small step up.

Laughably inept, and further proof of how awful music has become over the last 8 or so years. Projects a so- called "rebellious" image that is undoubtedly a concoction of their record company. Frat- boy nonsense. This entire rap/ rock genre is cliched and predictable. Mercifully, it appears that they have perhaps broken up. Can you even begin to imagine how pitiful this stuff is in comparison to, say, the likes of Jimi Hendrix or The Beatles? What's really lame is that a lot of kids out there actually think that bands like this have originality when this hackneyed outfit has none. Idiotic lyrics, and horrible vocals- and no, not the vocals are bad in a good way thing either. All of the credibility of Greg Brady's stint as Johnny Bravo. Actually, Greg had even more. 2)I was going to give this band a 1, but Im giving it a 5 just to spite whoever said wigger. I hate people who use this term than claim theyre not racist. A true non-racist would realize that you cant stereotype behaviors to something as trivial as a skin color. Therefore, there is no acting black and therefore no 'white acting black'. Its so simple even a child could understand.

When I bought their 2nd album, I thought it was just the most wonderful thing to debut at the time, but I was sure wrong. The music really is nothing but total disrespect for women, full of violence, and just pure hate. And this band isn't even totally together anymore, so I really don't have any interest in them. I don't recommend them.

An embarrasment to the genre

What a bunch of jokers. Fred Durst gives new meaning to the term media whore. He has not a scrap of talent musically, and not a lot of talent at self-promotion since many of his rants backfire. This is one tool who will do anything for attention. He cynically used the Rhode Island nightclub fire to release a cover of a Pink Floyd song, ostensibly as a tribute to the dead and as charity for their families. The main reason he does things like this is so his name will stay in the media and so he can entertain the notion that he is sharing his 'gift' with the world. He reminds me of the Simpsons where Homer bowled a perfect game and kept trying to milk his fifteen minutes of fame until it became embarrassing. At least Wes Borland saw the writing on the wall and quit. This band is terrible and hypocritical since it is obviously music for frat boys and yet pretends it isn't. Taking a 'principled' stand on the side of Napster against Metallica was another cynical ploy. Any band knows that they make almost no money from album sales and make all their cash from touring, so it wasn't really that much of a sacrifice to support internet file-sharing. They get to act like heroes without really risking anything. Losers.

I use to think that there was a point in time before "faith" that Limp D### has some integrity. Then I actually listened to the first two albums. BOY was I WRONG! I say this because that's what I think of Limp D^^^'s music. They are the definition of a generic Rap/rock band. Fred Durst tries to nuild himself as a tough guy for a vocalists HAHAHAHA(LOL). He just sounds like a whining baby. Can't stand it. The musicians are not so hot themselves. Wes just slaps on a guitar riff, the drummer and bassist go along with it, and Lethal just scratches whenever he feels like it. They're just not musically great. I was hoping that Limp Bizwhatever would end with Boreland's departure. Looks like the world has to keep on suffering.

Limp Bizkit is definetely one of the worst bands EVER. And it's mostly thanks to frontman Fred Durst. The guy cannot sing, rap, or write a half-decent song for the life of him, and he sure as hell can't play guitar, direct videos, or run a label (the band he signed, Puddle of Mudd, is equally lacking in talent). And while the rest of the band may have talent, Fred Durst won't let them truly show it, because Limp Bizkit songs do not take any talent to play and there's no room for experimentation or solos in their music. Plus, the lyrics are terrible and Fred Durst has a horrible, whiny voice. This might not be so bad if Limp Bizkit were just a novelty act, but Fred absolutely wants to be taken seriously!

I used to have respect for Fred Durst, but then I realized he's nothing but a punk who has no respect for women, music or his fans. I am glad Wes left the band, he did not belong in LB...mainly because he was the only one in it for the music. Not to mention he had the most talent and he was the only one who did not sell-out. So hooray for Wes. I thought Limp Bizkit was going downhill before, but now they really suck without him. Besides all this, nobody really likes them anymore...I am glad their 15 minutes of fame have ended.
