He is too dominant out there for me to give him a four. I want to give him a four because he needs to win something, but he can score forty at will, and that deserves a five.

McGrady is the worst thing that happened to the Rockets. Trade him or trade Yao to any team where he won't have to put up with McGrady's "impose my will but my back hurts" crap.

McGrady was a 5 a couple years ago (and a TOP 5), but he seems to not want it enough to keep it. Lately, he lacks heart in what he does...the key element. Still a great player, and I hope to see him step it up next year.

Heres something i dont get. How can everybody say he does nothing for a team and sux ballz, and say he only cares about himself and cant get his team to win. lets look at the stats. As of oday 12/17/05 the Rockets are 0-8 without T-mac, but are freakin 9-4 with him. How is he not helping? Explain to me that. T-Mac is amazing, end of discussion. 13 IN 30 IS IMPOSSIBLE.

The talent to be an all-time great is there- but he can't be a 5 star player until he wins a game that actually matters. . .

Does he absolutely need to win a championship to be, in the elite 50 of all time? I believe he's more talented than any guard or forward, second only to Kevin Garnett, but does this mean he's not that great why? Why can't he get the recognition he deserve's just on talent and skill only, they said he doesn't play any defense, but he went and shut down Dirk Nowitzki, they try to play Kobe but he destroys him aswell, scores at will, drains 40 ft. jumpers like anyone I've ever seen play, and gets to the cup unchallenged by anyone just ask 7'7" Shawn Bradley when he posterized him in the playoffs, in regards to talent this man is a GOD and deserves to be right up there with the best any questions email me @ David02122@yahoo.com

T-mac has a label that many high school superstar athletes get. Potential. Potential can be a good thing, ask Kobe, he will tell you. Kobe did something with his potential, a little something winning multiple nba championships. Something T mac has yet to proove he can do. Will he ever? well, i think if he surrounds himself with a few veterans who have been to the promise land at one time so maybe they can get T macs mind on winning a championship rather than how many points he can score in a game. But for now, Tracy McGrady will keep the label he has, and keep that label for a while.

McGrady has amazing potential, but like Vince Carter, I have yet to see him doing anything for the teams he has been playing on. McGrady will become a great player when he takes his team on a run through the playoffs, but until then he is just a great talent who has failed to get results for his franchise.

baller#5. T-Mac has a brain and one bigger than yours because of your comments. If he's dumb because he didn't go to college, then LeBron, KG, Kobe, and Amare Stoudamire are also dumb. bballer#3. T-Mac didn't get those numbers that Lebron did because T-Mac didn't get to start. In his second year, T-MAc started 2 games and played in only 49. Here's a list of other's on the team that year: V. Carter(rookie of the year in 98-99). Doug Christie Kevin Willis Charles Oakley Dee Brown Brown, Carter, and Christie were all guards and so is T-Mac. Now, do you see why he didn't put up those numbers?

t-mac suks!!HEY allstardude1!!Lebron James is averaging over 25ppg in ONLY HIS SECOND YEAR!!!And Lebron James does not complain about his attitude problems!!!When T-mac was age 20, he was averaging 9 ppg verses 25 ppg for Lebron Jmes.Yeah look at Kevin Garnnet!!!He has won numerous playoff games and has contended in the Western conference which is obviosly stronger than the East and has been since 2000. Kg has actually won playoff series and has gone as far as the conference championship!!1Has T-mac???I didn't think so!!!If kg is so dumb, how come people call him the best player in the NBA??? You need a brain to pass the ball to YOUR own teammate!!You need a brain to know which basket to score in!!AND IF YOU REALLY HEAD A BRAIN, YOU WOULDNT CARE BOUT MONEY BECAUSE THATS JUST PLAIN BULLCRAP!!!Now Kobe!!Look at KObe Bryant!!!He's won numerous NBA championships!!!HAS T-MAC ever even won a playoff series???NO!!!AND IF UR GONNA SAY LEBRON HASNT EITHER, ITTL BE BEFORE HE TURNS 23!!Lebron will either win one this year or definately next year!!! Kobe is a smart person as well!!I know that Kobe won 6 NBa championships becasue he watched tapes of himself in games and improved on his weaknessess!!!Is T-mac SMART enough to do the same???NO!!T-MAC is too BUSY WORRYING ABOUT HIS POPULARTY AND HIS SALRY!!!OH AND FINALLY Amare Stoudamire!!!fIRST OF ALL WHY IS HE RATED HIGHER THAN T-mac???Maybe cause this kid has amazing POTENTIAL!!OH AND DONT GET ME WRONG ON THIS!!!T-MAC HAS POTENTIAL BUT DOS NOT USE IT IN THE RIGHT WAY!!!AMARE's sqaud is the best team in the NBA RIGHT NOW!!!Amare is a very nice person and always smiles in all his pictures!!!T-MAC SMILED WHEN HE ARRIVED IN HOUSTEN CAUSE HE KNEW HE WOULD EARN MORE MONEY!!!SO YES ENOUGH HAS BEEN SAID!!!T-MAC SUCK!!AND ONE LAST THING!!!THAT CAROLINA BOY WAS RIGHT!!!T-MAC HAS THAT i don't have a care in the world. T-mac is dumb enough to think he is the next MJ by giving his own gay look!!he is a HUGE PHONY!!!!

Blessed with talent. He has the potential to be the top shooting guard in the NBA. With that said he has MANY FAULTS. He has shown he is not a team player. He has NO loyalty. All he cares about is himself and his bank account. He has NO class. This guy is probably one of the most hated players. He should have attended college to learn some ethics and educate himself so he doesn't say something dumb every time he opens his trap. I can't till things go sour in Houston.

NBA superstar tracy mcgrady has improvedso much more with each season- so much so that the loss of hill has not impacted as greatly as had been expected. T-mac today is perhaps thr single most explosive weapon in the game. the legue's reigning scoring champ, mcgrady's added to his offensive arsenal each year and has now become, aruably, the legue's toughest defensive assignment. T-mac averaged a hefty 32.1 ppg while tuning in good all-around numbers. whethern hitting the rainbow or swooping in for a slam, T-mac has simply been a imposing offensive force some oponents has managed to slow him down a bit from time to time, but none have stopped him altogether. if he isn't scoring, McGrady will find a other ways to help his team. he is a cerfitable NBA superstar...

T mac has been one of the greatest offensive players lately (he even already surpassed his cousin on that category), the only thing that could stop him is only himself. it's just too bad to see 2004 season, he's just a victim of the salary cap in MAGIC for not being able to sign a good partner for him, THANKS TO GRANT HILL

Tracey McGrady is the points leader this year in the NBA. He is one of the best all around players in the NBA. He can play 4 positions on the floor and is an excellent defender. He is the leader of the team and he has made his team better also.

One of the top five players in the league right now. His offensive game is huge, and it's hard to believe that he may become better. I actually might take him on my team over Kobe-maybe. How his game evolves over the next season will be interesting to see.

No doubt that hes the best in the NBA. Nothing away from Kobe, but Kobe has Shaq. Yes, Tracy is getting a team built around him now, but I want to see Kobe and Tray switch shoes. They play totally different. Kobe makes the better plays, but Tracy is more solid.

Awesome player and a great person. There isn't anything this guy can't do, well, except maybe play solid D, but he's working on it. If Grant Hill wasn't made of glass, who knows how good the Magic would be. Actually, speaking of Hill, do you think McGrady's wishing he had Ben Wallace guarding the paint and grabing every rebound for him. That trade isn't looking to good for Orlando nowadays.

"It's nice to finally make it to the second round." You spoke too soon captain cocky. Can be a scoring machine but didn't do too well when Pistons coach decided to put Tayshaun Prince in his face. McGrady needs to spend less time talking garbage that he can't live up to.

T-Mac has shown amazing ability in the games that I've seen him play as of lately, but quite the mouse in his first couple of years. He often requires incentive to play, showing the Magic franchise that they should more often trade away his friends on the team. He's a good player and he has the potential to be great, but he is often lured by candy and does not play with the pure love of the game that was so often evident in the two MJ s.

I think that when it is all over, I personally believe that T-Mac will rate as one of the greatest all-around basketball players period. He can play at least three different positions, can score, has decent defensive skills, and is only going to get better. The only thing that worries me is the back spasms that occur. Other than that, McGrady is a great player.

T-Mac is one of the most athletic and exciting young players in the league. Anyone had to be impressed by that fantastic dunk in the all-star off the backboard to himself. However, he can't singlehandedly carry the Magic, he needs a second man.

The Magic sure gambled on him last year, but it really paid dividends. Consider the numbers: 26.8 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 4.6 APG, .457 FGP, and 59 3-Point shots. His eruption shouldn't have been a surprise, though. Although 6-8, they played him at the 2, 3, and 1 spots, a true testament to his versatility. A devastating slasher, he can penetrate into the paint and use his size to score over big 4's and 5's. His defense is tenacious as well. He needs to improve his outside touch, especially with Hill returning to take the driving duties. He added some bulk, but at times he still looked thin and weak last year. But you can't argue with the results.

I saw him play the Utah Jazz in Orlando in November, AMAZING is a good word for it. He had a cast on his hand, and still poured in 39 points and had about 7 assists and 10 rebs. An unbelievable talent who shows good maturity for his age. Will be the team leader even when Grant Hill comes back. A Superstar was born.....

Well what can i say about T.MAC...he is no doubt a geat player but all he care about is money and he s getting that in Orlando and he wanted to be the go to guy and now he is tat guy in Orlando but if u look at him u will see an aerogant and a person who betrayed the toronto fans and the organization by saying that his three years in Toronto were hard, whatever he is today, is becuz of toronto and he say that he was sick f toronto talkin all the good stuff about Vince, well to be honest Vince deserves all that and Macgrady say that he wanted to play for his home town thats all crap..he is nothing but a looser, i would love to see him play in toronto but he is doin no good job in orlando, every close game, he misses a clutch shot and thinks he is da best and trust me when grant hill will be back he will then be playing under grant and he will be crying again...he has a big L written on his forehead.

I was a little skeptical when this guy got all of that big money from the Magic. Sure, he performed well in the slam dunk contest, but how could a guy who had never been to an All-star game, let alone been a regular starter, gotten that big of a contract. Well, I don't think that is too early to say that the Magic have gotten their money's worth. He is the real thing. He can do everything on the floor and, at 21, is only going to get better.
