I finally got around to reading some of his work, a collection of his essays from various sources. I'll admit I chuckled at some of the work, and its decently crafted writing, but it truly is craft. The over all effect is a cut-rate, modernist, uptown, gay version of Garrison Keeler. Keeler is much better with language.
