I would never own an iphone because there are so many apps it reminds me of a sci fi movie where technology becomes smarter than humanity. It gives me the creeps. I need a phone to call people...not to level a shelf. But, that being said...I LOVE my ipod.

Well, I have an i-pod, and get my music, digital movies and tv shows on i-tunes, but I have a Toshiba Laptop, with Windows Vista. I used Mac's a lot in college when I took my digital imaging classes and stuff, and they were ok to use, but since I'm so used to Windows I got confused with the setup from time to time.

Apple sucks. I agree though most white folks I know love Apple.

I am a firm supporter of IBM compatable products. Apple computers and/or iMacs are so user friendly that I have always considered them for people who can't handle a real computer.

Yeah, that's what we're apparently being told.  I believe this originated from the fact that earlier Macs were more graphics friendly than PC's.  Though the Mac was my first computer love - and for this very reason - and I still have very kind feelings toward them alas,  I was forced into the PC world by powers beyond my control.  And while I believe that over time evolving technology has taken care of some of the earlier issues concerning right vs. left brained appeal in the PC/MAC worlds, the reputation persists - if you're cool you're a Mac.  This is something you see reinforced time and again - especially on TV and in films.  So, I guess the real question is - do white people fall for this crapola more than other races.  Again, I think it's more of a social climber/cultural/age issue than anything else - could go either way.

Some of them are kind of cool, but they tend to be overrated and over-priced.
