I love homes and furniture with character and some "soulfulness". Hand hewn or non mass produced special pieces really make it feel like a home. I still have my grandmother's dressing table and my mom's cedar chest, but I also have some lovely teak classics that keep their style. Eclectic!

... geez, I dunno about this one. Does the toilet count as vintage furniture? ... 'cause the rest of my stuff is like, second-hand, yard-sale, or something.

Yes I have some old pieces of furniture mixed with newer stuff - most people do. It has nothing to do with how I perceive others perceiving me though. Here are the only three reasons for it...

1. Sentimental attachment...my parents or grandparents bought it - it holds memories.

2. I can't afford or don't want to spend the money to replace it right now.

3. I keep forgetting to take it to Goodwill or call St. Vincent DePaul.

Mabye. But it tends to be more of the Giant Flatscreen that makes people cool, in the eyes of other people.

Vintage rocks although I will say that I used to get my Vintage from old raggedy clothes left by my Mom and Dad and I worked that shit out. I rock.

I do like some vintage....

Vintage furniture is ok but I prefer vintage Muscle Cars.  Nothing  beats a vintage Chevy.  Cameros, Chevelles, Impalas, Monte Carlos there all good.

I only like vintage action figures...

If it's functional and it keeps you from buying something new, then great. If it's just an old piece of junk, especially if you paid more than a few bucks for it, then what's the point?

Antiques are what we have... is that what is meant by "vintage?"
