I like sandwiches, but they don't have to be expensive.

I like a little local cafe that does more than sandwiches for lunch. They are okay sometimes, but the thought does not evoke many memories for me.

What-go to Subway-$5 footlongs and Tony Parker eats there!

I like a good sandwich especially trying new kinds of concoctions. I would imagine we each have our own idea of "expensive" my own is places like subway, or Cheddars,etc. so I may not even fit the expensive category. i am glad to get a good sandwich at a decent price.

Hmmm, I thought the love of the sandwich was universal and crossed most if not all cultural boundries.  I admit that I can be fairly adventurous when it comes to trying new food combinations and will occasionally go above the norm when it comes to cost.  But most of the time I try to stay on the moderate side of things...unless you consider Quiznos or Jimmy John's expensive.

Not this white person, I dont eat expensive stuff unless we go out to eat steak.

I buy the cheapo lunch meat...true we don't eat that nasty bologna that you may like, but exp. sandwiches are a city thing not a white people thing...

Palefaces do enjoy parting with their hard-earned but decreasing-valued dollars for a good sandwich at an oh-so-trendy place. . but as always, one must ask the opposite question- "Who doesn't like an expensive sandwich?"  Three stars at best.

Sometimes. My  somewhat snobby/ ethnocentric  but in my view accurate rule of thumb is ALWAYS go to the sub shop where the proprietor is named Vincenzo or Luigi over one run by someone named Kip Llewellyn or Chip Baxter. ALWAYS

im not really a sandwich person....

I wish that they were inexpensive sandwiches instead. There is nothing worse than ordering a pricey sandwich and it sucking.

The whole appeal of a sandwich is that it's cheap and simple. These guys are doing it wrong.

If we can afford it sure!  Why the hell not?  Good food is worth paying for.

I certainly don't mind a cheap sandwich, but I'll spend a few more dollars for one I find particularly appealing. Screw the 5 dollar foot longs, and give me a large Prime Rib and Peppercorn or Chicken Carbonara from Quiznos. I'll be paying twice as much as the cheaper places, but you can't put a price on taste bud happiness.
