People are people. I like to be around people, and race doesn't matter to me.

Who cares? If I'm on the basketball court, it's not uncommon for me to be the only white guy around. On the other hand, if I'm visiting my parents house in a very rural area, I won't see someone who isn't white for days. Either way is just fine.

Having lived most of my life in NYC, I've often been the token honkie - especially late at night on the subway. Didn't much care about it one way or the other. Crowds of drunk frat boys are the scariest.

Overseas, one might be embarrassed by typical white Americans in restaurants, but it's not because they're melanin deprived.

If these questions were about blacks or hispanics it would be taken off!!

This depends on the person and the situation. It may cause some people to double check that their windows are up and car doors are locked, while others will dance around expressing their white ignorance.
