12/21/2003 | i've only read Q is for Quarry. When i first started the book i wondered if i could get into her style of writing. But i read a little further and before i knew it i was hooked! I have a lot of catching up to do with her other novels. She makes everything come to life. Her characters are so real.

08/11/2003 | Another fabolous author. I was a little disappointed with her last book (Q), but that's no reason for her to get anything less than a 5. She writes with a lot of humor and always has an ending that you never expected. She writes in a way that keeps you wanting to read. I can finish her books in a night if I allow myself!

06/20/2001 | Sue Grafton has produced a winner in Kinsey Milhone. These are great detective novels. Such a break from the cigarette smoking gumshoes we have seen in the past. I wonder how long before we see Kinsey on the TV screen? I hope she continues through the whole alphabet and then starts over.

09/05/2000 | her alphabet series is the most consistent series ever. Every novel is highly enjoyable. Her lead character, Kinsey Milhone, is so well written she seems real ! If u haven't read none of this series I highly recommend them. Definately a well deserved 5 star author ! Ms. Grafton doesn't intend on winning the Pulizter prize, but she does what she does better than anyone in this genre.

06/20/2000 | Fifteen books about Kinsey Milhone have allowed readers to become comfortably familiar with Kinsey's strengths and weaknesses, sense of humor, life details, friends, living quarters. Kinsey is realistic, and her sense of humor is why I read these books, and always await the next one.
