 | MDStewart (11) 05/09/2007 | McCammon is a much under-rated horror writer who has written some wonderful books. He's very easy to read, and he'll scare the you know what out of you. I believe he should be in the same league as King and Koontz; he's that good!

 | tiggerandcogs (0) 08/03/2006 | McCammon is a great writer but I must ask why Graham Masterton is not on this list? Masterton's The Mirror is a horror classic. The guy is awesome; maybe it is because Masterton is basically known in the UK that he has not ever really gotten his due here in the USA

 | the1ring (0) 02/01/2006 | McCammon is wonderful, magical, he puts you in the story and makes you yearn for more. I wish I was from such a town as Boy's Life.

 | goatman_84 (0) 09/26/2004 | McCammon is one of the greatest horror writers of all, though I'd still have to say my favorite is King, though, to me, they write very similar. Both great storytellers, can't really choose one of the other.

 | Talmus (0) 08/14/2004 | Can someone help me???
I have been interested in selling my hardback book collection of author signed, with dust jackets but not sure what they are worth. I was wondering if you could help give me a guide line to what is a good starting point for these books.
Here are the books I have available that I would like to sell. I only purchased these books because I wanted to meet Mr. McCammon (and what an honor that was) were bought and then shelved. I only read the paperback versions, I guess I wanted the books at the time for posterity. But now I think that a real book lover should have these books. They need to be on a shelf somewhere where they can be shown off. I do not have a proper place to display them. Here are the descriptions of the books as best as I can give. If you are in the Los Angeles area, I would personally bring the books so you may actually see the books and their condition. I also can submit pictures. I would be so grateful to any help you could offer me.
Thank you in advance.
Sincerely Tina S. Pease

 | President -X-D (7) 03/25/2003 | Without a doubt, my favorite modern horror writer. He is much more consistent than King or Koontz, and a better writer to boot. His latest book "Speaks the Nightbird" is his first after 10 years and it is wonderful; further proof that McCammon is a master.

 | lovetoread (0) 04/15/2001 | I've read everything Mccammon has written. This man can tell a story! Boy's LIfe and Gone South are my favorite books and I've read them more than once. I actually get hungry for more. I came into this site to find out why he hasn't written anymore and am GREATLY disappointed that he has retired. Maybe he will read this and change his mind. I'm hungry.

 | niko (0) 12/22/2000 | Robert McCammon is the premiere writer of horror novels, though I don't believe that he is true horror, his books have a lot of diversity to them. Take Wolf's Hour, it has drama, romance, war, a bit of sarcasm, and a man who turns into a wolf. It is unfortunate that he announced his retirement from writing in November 1999, as he will be missed by many who, like me, wish there was just one more book.
