Watched Bill Cosby last night in Escondido, CA

He was funny, but he did seem tired and looking forward to the time when he could end the show.

I've heard in the past he went 2 Hours plus, but last night he asked what time it was after about 1.5 hrs and then ended at 1 hr 40 min.

He didn't seem to have a plan, but instead talked through a few funny stories. The stories did not lead to the next story.

I suspect at 71 his age has reduced him from what he used to be.

We all get old and he is still funny, but at $90 ticket the price is too high for the show quality.

I encourage Bill to bring down the ticket price and continue to perform. But if he keeps the price at this level he needs to be told that it is not a fair price considering his diminished skills.

In his day, he was the hands down funniest comedian who didn't use profanity. A lot of people could relate to his wit and wisdom.

I find it appalling some in the African American community do not take Bill Cosby's words of wisdom to heart and practice what he preaches not only to them, but to ALL Americans. What is so wrong about practicing personal responsibility and self-determination? The stereotypes he uses in describing all peoples of color maybe crass and sometimes crude, but the message he conveys is clear in that everyone should take stock of both their own lives and their priorities first and foremost. Not only to African Americans, but to all Americans- if you are spending your money on ultra-expensive name-brands and frivolous items (such as Sony PS2s and Gamecubes) instead of on things to better yourselves (such as 'Hooked on Phonics' and other studying aids when you or your children are not currently at a proficient level), you are then being absolutely irresponsible- PERIOD. Despite what some may think about his candid diatribes about reckless behavior, it has NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE! It has everything to do with being responsible and being good, productive citizens in society. To say he is being insulting is inane and totally ignorant of the truth. Bill Cosby is totally right, but in reference to ALL Americans who make stupid, useless excuses which, ironically, describes many.

I'm by no means learned when it comes to Bill Cosby, but from the little of his work I have seen I gather that he is not even remotely funny. What was the allure of the befuddled yet wise father figure he played on the Cosby show? Well, I'll keep pondering how fat albert got the big following that he has.

Bill Cosby is a great actor and he's great on the stage, but as a writer, his life is plain old dull. His books aren't funny, and he uses different humor in his stories. Really outdated and unfunny humor. He never gets anywhere with his stories.
