It kept my interest to a point, but I kept thinking of those old Death Wish movies. She is the modernized version of Charles Bronson.

almost four Jodie foster was good as the radio talk host who was brutally assualted while walking in  a park with her boyfriend.and dog. the boyfriend dies and she is in the hospital for weeks. she comes out a changed woman.she purchases a gun illegally and keeps it with her. while in convenience store she witnesses a robbery and murder the guy goes after her when spotting her and she kills him. in the next few months she seems to "come across" other scenes of violence where she shoots and kills the offenders. now she is reported as a kind of vigallanty{sp} she also strikes up a sort of "friendship" with the detective who was on her case when she and her boyfriend were attacked. the end is interesting she gets her revenge on her original attackers.not great pretty good to rent.
