was not impressed

I thought it was OK, with some decent twists towards the end.  So here's the storyline: a dogcatcher by the name of Walter gets bit by a dog, which makes him late to meet his wife.  While waiting for Walter, the wife wanders into a bookstore and finds a weird little book.  She ends buying it, and liking it enough that she gives it to Walter to read.

Well the book - called 23 - really grabs Walter, to the point where he starts obsessing about it.  In the book, a man is haunted by the number 23.  It starts showing up everywhere - in his address, his name, his phone numbers, the buses he rides, to the point where it eventually drives him insane.

Lo and behold, before long the number has crept out of the book and starts showing itself to Walter in his real life, to the point that things start getting out of control.

Number 23 is a moderately creepy movie, that's just good enough to make it worth while.
