One of three famous sisters, Emily Bronte (1818-1848) is the one with the least amount of output. Emily Bronte only published one novel in her lifetime, Wuthering Heights, a book so full of variant levels of violence and forthright language that it did not find a proper audience during Bronte’s life. It was only long after Emily Bronte’s death that Wuthering Heights gained the proper recognition.
