Might I suggest to anyone and everyone that will read this.. Invest in a home bar. Anyone can mix a drink. Seriously. LOL! No all shit aside, what's a bottle cost you now a days... and I'm not talking Boone's Farm! Whiskeys, Gins, Vodkas, Tequilas even... Buy a bottle instead of the 12 pack. Your mixers aren't much either. Don't always go for the expensive stuff, that's not what they serve you at the watering hole down the street, unless you ask for it...even then... $36 for a bottle of Patron isn't bad!!!! It's 11 a shot everywhere else... do the math! LOLAnyway, Drinking done in a responsible manner in the comfort of your own home or a buddies home, is always a good way to unwind after a hectic work week. I'll leave you with this.... I feel sorry for people who don't drink. They wake up in the morning and that's the best they're going to feel all day. Dean Martin

Unfortunately for me, it was often Sunday nights, and Mondays, and Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and Saturdays, and Columbus Days, and Halloweens, and Thanksgivings, and Yom Kippur (I'm not Jewish, but so what?), and Veterans Day, and the third Thursday of the month, and the 2nd, and the Chinese New Year, and the Romanian National Liberation Day (not even sure what that is, but it sounds good), and H.P. Lovecraft's birthday, and the anniversary of the Lizzie Borden murders, and...

The days when 'Drink' actually constituted an evening's activity all on its own are decades behind me, but barely a Friday goes by that I don't celebrate the end of the work week and/or Christen the week end with something containing alcohol. The requirement that I test my capacity and tolerance has been removed from the event though.

It's pretty rare to find a Friday night where I don't have at least a couple beers. Back in college, Friday nights usually meant sitting around watching TV or playing video games until about 9 or 10, then going on a beer run with a couple buddies, and then drinking about 10 or 12 longnecks of PBR while sitting around and talking or playing video games, and of course the occasional party. The start of grad school meant I had to cut back a little, but I still partied pretty hard at the bars a couple times a month, other Friday nights just meant having a beer or two while watching TV.These days the drinking is usually a couple beers or mixed drinks while sitting on the couch watching a movie with Mrs. Twan. The quantities of booze drank have changed, as have the places and people involved, but beer has been one of the few common components of most of my Friday nights since I was 18.

There are relatively few days that I don't have a drink, but if this list item means getting absolutely faced, no.If it means having a jar at the local pub, or a few beers with my mates, certainly.

I guess you could if you were the drinking type, but this isn't something I would find worthy of a Friday night.

Depends on how much you enjoy, and if you have to visit with Officer Friendly afterward.
