The best western writer ever. Better than Zane Grey. In reality nobody could live up to the ideals of his heroes. But they make great reading.

As truly American as John Wayne, no author ever captured the spirt of the Old West like Louis L'Amour. Although his writings included several topics, it is for "Westerns" that he will always be identified. Louis L'Amour will always be a storyteller for the ages.
