It's great to have a sense of humor, without humor, life would be dull and boring.

This is extremely important in my opinion! Nothing better to get you through the tough times in life than a good laugh.

A man who laughs at things I say has a great sense of humour... hehe, who wouldn't want that?

A man can have a sense of humor, but a real man knows how to be funny without being disgusting or perverted at the wrong time.

Essential part of anyone, male or female, as far as I'm concerned. And in my experience, if you can make a woman laugh, you're a good part of the way home.

A person who can't make me laugh won't get very far, but there has to be a balance. You can't always be funny, so as long as he also knows WHEN to be serious, we're all good...

There's always time for some humor. I'd like a guy who can make me laugh.

Laughing is one of the primary ways to someone's heart. I have observed that a good sense of humor is almost always indicative of intlligence. All really funny people are smart  but not all smart people are funny. Intelligence and integrity beget most of the other qualities that ultimately lead to successful relationships. Bear in mind that making people laugh because you are funny is not the same thing as people laughing at you because you are a goof

A sense of humor is a great quality but I wouldn't say it defines as being a real man.

My wife tells me she fell in love with me because I was handsome first, then had a sence of humor and made her laugh, and was raising two children by myself. Good woman huh?

I don't think this is essential to being a Real Man but it sure doesn't hurt.

When youre laughing nothing else really matters. Ive watched some pretty questionable dudes lock up a relationship with humor. It ranks high, sure, but alone (or as a way in) it fades quickly. Who wants an average unemployed ignorant funny guy?

I would be nothing without my sense of humor, it is so crucial.

Although I can understand a woman wanting that, because I certainly have a sense of humor, it seems that some, (not all), women are very fussy, especially young ones about what defines a good sense of humor. In my experience, I've noticed that some (notice how I say SOME, not all because a lot of women are mature) women want a very smartalick, whitty sense of humor. Anything other then that is dry. Although I would want a fun woman and I can fully understand why a woman would want a fun guy, this isn't the most important trait especially since there are a lot of men out there who are more serious and thoughtful. Some women seem to be more interested in fun then a serious relationship which isn't always as good for them as they think.

I'm not sure how much this contributes to a guy being a real man but it certainly helps a guy have a well rounded personality. A good sense of humor includes a lot of areas but in my opinion it should go beyond one liners and sarcasm although those should not be excluded either. Finding the humorous side of things is parallel to looking for the positive side of situations. It may not make one a real man but it makes them a lot more pleasant to be around and to spend time with them.

I'm giving this a four but that doesn't mean I have a sense of humor. I tend to be a serious type of guy but does that make me a girlie man? No. I have plenty of friends who have a great sense of humor yet many of them don't have some of the other things on this list...

People who lack a sense of humor are just no fun to be around. If I could not laugh at myself and the rest of the world,I'd likely have done myself in by now.A sense of humor is also attractive in women.

I could never take myself too seriously. There are so many times a day when I stop and laugh at myself.

Nothing is sexier or more endearing than a good sense of humor.

I don't know how I could have forgotten this one. A must have of course. Perferably a sarcastic sense of humor.
