 | Djahuti (54) 11/30/2005 | The sad fact is that usually whoever spends the most and runs the most vicious attacks on the opponent wins. This does not say much for the ability of voters to sort through the muck and concentrate on core issues. Both sides are spending corporate money in exchange for favors, and playing to the lowest common denominator.I've seen classier roller-derbys.

 | GenghisTheHun (168) 11/30/2005 | In Congress we have the left held by Bill Frist, Tom Delay, Dennis Hastert. We have the far left occupied by Teddy Kennedy, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton. We have the looney left occupied by Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, etc. Finally we have the "In orbit around Pluto" left with such luminaries as Barbara Boxer, Patty Murray, Carloyn Maloney, etc. We have no right in Congress today except for a handful. How many members of the House voted against Iraq for instance?
