I am probably too old to wear them now, but I sure enjoyed them in the good old days--with the red rubbler soles!

My favorite style shoe. First lady I fell in love with,(Puppy Love experience) with my 2nd grade teacher, who was beautiful and wore saddle shoes. First girl I was engaged to, would not allow me to wear saddle shoes if I was with her. She couldn't stand them, after having to wear them for 13 years in Catholic school system. When I met my present wife, and she saw I wore saddle shoes, she went out and bought a pair. Have been wearing them for 40 years.

I kind of like these. I don't think of them as old; I think of them as retro!
