Handsome, no doubt, but I could go either way on most of his movies. There are a few good ones, but most are... well, not the greatest.

I think hes a good actor, was awesome as Batman and played a very handsom Doc Holiday.
mattyk 07/02/2007
man when i think of val i think of his portrayal of doc holliday. that was the best performance ive ever seen out of any actor
Jeremy00081 09/15/2006
This guy has very little range, and sometimes he puts me off. He was good in "Willow", though. 2 and a half stars
Barb72756 07/10/2006
Val is a very good actor but he should choose his movies more carefully. He was great in Tombstone but some of his movies are awful. Of course, I could just look at him and be happy.

I gave Val Kilmer three stars even though I was debating between three and four. He has been versatile....Real Genius--Tombstone--The Saint, but for me there still seems to be something lacking. maybe it is because he does not put himnslef out there more and that is when you have to go search out his roles in the independent films. But I will say this for him. The absolute only good thing about the movie Alexander was him. I left the theater upset with every other actor's role except for his. And not many people knew he was going to be in that movie when they first advertised it. There seemed to be too much attention being drawn to the fact that Colin Ferrell and Angelina Jolie were starring in. A fact that I wish wasn't so. Oh, and on a shallow note, he is nice to look at so that also helps.

hes gorgeous and a very dedicated actor i wish hed come out with something new

A hot looking guy. Hasn't gotten a memorable role yet? Or? Saw a photo of him in sandals wearing red toe nail polish...OH My! Whhhhaaaaaatttt was thaaaaaat Val? Didn't go with the otherwise hot male on the town look...ok. Hope it was for a role. Tell me it was for a role Val.

Val Kilmer is just another one of those talented actors who often wastes his time acting in forgettable movies and as forgettable characters. He acts quite well under the circumstances, though.
miraty 04/05/2004
I like alot of his work but he looks like he doesn't smell very good.

Very Good
Redoedo 05/07/2003
Val Kilmer is a very good actor who unfortunately, as someone else pointed out, does not carefully consider the roles that he undertakes. Only a few films in his career have been memoriable performances. "The Saint", "Tombstone", "Thunderheart" and "Top Gun" are among his best. "At First Sight" was also a real pleaser as well. However, he did not make a very good Batman and his talent is sadly wasted on second rate films.

HE'S A HOT BATMAN!
lynntabatha 11/25/2002
I will always think Val Kilmer was soo excellent in Tombstone!! But I think he has made some real dumb movies.
kissame63 10/02/2002
loved him in Tombstone and the other movie as well.
KevanSF 06/26/2002
Tombstone, Salton Sea. Those movies prove he is a good actor. He doesn't always chose the best scripts, but I'm rating him on his acting.
skip811 12/11/2001
Mr. Killmers portrayel of doc holliday was the best i have ever seen, and I will never accept anyone else in that role. Val makes acting look easy and i know thats not true.
princessangry 12/04/2001
he is a HUNKIE!!! I love the tough guy he is and the emotional way he was in "at first sight" he showed his sensitive side that made me cry, I think he's so dreamy he does make me cry. I think he's one of the hottest actors around and My mom digs him! I liked his mystical side in "willow" and he's always been one of my favorite actors! he's hot!!!
babyice 08/26/2001
holy cow!! he was born the same year as my mom and dad!! weird but he is a good actor.:)
Bella_Angel 07/15/2001
Mr. Kilmer is indeed a wonderful actor. He has set himself apart from the crowd; He has become talent personified, dark at times with a constant twinkle of youthful brightness. Mr. Kilmer is deserving of the title "gifted". I pity those who have had the misfortune to miss or cut down his abilities.
babygirl23 07/11/2001
I would like to say that Val Kilmer is the most gorgous man in the world. I know I would never have him but I do have someone who looks just like him. So, I'll stick with it.
mikki 07/06/2001
I love him! He's a great actor, a great dad, and a great guy in general! he is that contradiction all women search for and are told by Oprah that they will never have because it doesn't exist; well Oprah it does and his name is Val Kilmer! He's sweet and sensitive, yet all man, ya know that natural male grace some guys have, he's suave and charming;not to metion great looking. He is what ALL men should strive to be!
Amberfrog12 07/03/2001

Val Kilmer is the best actor for his generation. The first movie I saw of his was "Willow", I loved it. I have seen and own almost all his movies, from his TV Movie debut "One Too Many" to movies where he only does a cameo like "Pollock". I have seen him change and grow as an actor over the years. Val Kilmer is a fabulous actor, his talent speaks volumes not only is he a poet, an actor he can also sing(which I wish he would do more). Val Kilmer has a great sense of humour and timing, and he was very charismatic on the scene when needed such as Doc Holiday in Tombstone one of my favourite films. My all-time favourite that I could watch over and over again is "Thunderheart" I got so much out of watching that one. I hope that the Academy will begin to see what we his fans see. I look forward to seeing "Salton Sea".
meatlady741 04/21/2001
My appreciation of Mr.Kilmer's acting talent started with the viewing of WILLOW and has not diminished over the years. But my favorite will always be TOMBSTONE.jn
warectare 03/27/2001
Val Kilmer is one of the best and he is still honing his craft. I saw Val Kilmer for the first time in "Tombstone" as Doc Holiday. I got a copy of the video when it was released and have tried to see everything else he has done since then. While he is one of the all time great actors, the character he portrayed in "The Saint" was very good but not the best work he has done or is capable of doing. Some of the voices seemed very familiar for all those disguises he used them with. He will be another of a small group of actors that have staying power as his career spans the next 20 to 30 years.

Val Kilmer is one of the hottest guys I have ever seen. He has great talent and an excellent acting ability. I hope he keeps doing excellent movies. I still love the Saint. That just shows he's capable of doing anything!
Olip 11/02/2000
I think Val Kilmer is definately a "hottie". I especially like him in the "Saint". He has that calm, cool, yet seductive way about him.
Vanguard-Studio 10/11/2000
Kilmer, a great actor who has submitted some awe inspiring performances including my favorite -- Doc Holliday in Tombstone. The only way he could be improved would be to take some lessons from Tom Hanks and/or Kevin Spacey in script selection. Kilmer has had only a few projects in his career that have taken full advantage of his enormous talent & artistry.
Shroomwoman 07/25/2000
Val Kilmer's performance as Jim Morrison in "The Doors" was nothing short of phenomenal. I couldn't believe how successfully he adopted Morrison's looks, moves, and even his music, as he actually did some of the singing himself. From the beginning of the show, I was fully convinced that Val Kilmer was Jim Morrison, which made watching the movie all the more enjoyable.
