I adore Melody Thomas Scott.. just in her everyday life she does so much.. being a founding member of Save the Earth amongst other things..and as Nikki Newman.. well, what can one say.. she definately has had her share of drama! One of the top in the actress catagory and been passed over TOO many times for an Emmy!

Love to watch "Nikki" on Y&R. She is a great actress and has an interesting role.

Melody is an excellent actress and very lovely. If she had gone into films, she could have been an Elizabeth Taylor type.

Just saw her in a movie called Paradise Virus and her acting was excellent. Loved her for years on Y&R. One of the best.

Convincing sometimes and seems to phone it in other times. Just okay by me.

Melody is a great actress and I think if she had wanted to, she could have become a great movie star. I like her interactions with Eric Braeden and the rest of the cast. She always looks good and I wish she would win an Emmy.

Nikki and Victor are not a good match. He is too old, too overbearing, too old, too controlling, and too old. Nikki should be with someone who is more her age. Also, for someone with her wealth and social standing, she should have style reflect that.

This lady has become a caricature of herself. Sporting styles that no one over the age of sixteen should wear, and her increasingly bleached hair, does not do a lady good. I am just sick of her tasteless character on Y&R. Give it up already.

That weak nasal voice of hers and the prissy way she talks makes me crazy. I can't stand to even watch her because of it.

Nikki is the wishy-washy woman with the on-and-off relationship to the very strong, very powerful, Victor. Maybe she just seems weak because of her relationship to Victor, but I do think that it makes for a weak character. Melody Thomas, however, does play the part well... I just wish she had a better character to play.
