I used to say I've watched AMC since Erica was a virgin, but when they brought Kendall into the story, well, I guess she wasn't a virgin back in HS after all.

SL does an okay job as Erica, but in other work she has done, she has played those roles just like Erica.

If for no other reason, she gets five stars for her looks and her ability to maintain that beauty for how many years? She and Dick Clark must be drinking from the same fountain. Don't listen to the neigh sayers, Susan. YOU ARE GREAT!

Susan Lucci has made AMC what it is today. Without her it would not seem like AMC. I have been watching AMC since 73 and everyday she has some crazy thing to come up with and it's really enjoying to watch her perform. Thank you Susan Lucci for your crazy self in AMC.

I love Susan and Erica to pieces! How can you not? She is so beautiful and talented. She deserved every Emmy that she was nominated for, and more. I'll admit that I love Skye the best on All My CHildren, but Erica is and always will be a very close third.

Great as Erica Kane, and she's become a legend playing this diva, but Susan Lucci is not a versatile actress. If you've ever watched her tv movies, it's basically Erica Kane in another setting. She'll always be Erica Kane.

I've watched AMC since it first aired. Susan Lucci has grown with her roll as Erica and I don't know anyone who hasn't enjoyed growing along with her. I also find her to be a down to earth person with her fans, and it would be an honor to call her friend.

Erica is timeless. I've been watching her since I was a young girl. She has always exploded onto the scene and contiues to dominate daytime. Pine Valley wouldn't be the same without her :-)

I can’t believe how long Susan Lucci has been continuously playing this part! She is now passed onto the status of soap grand dame. Ever the catty villainess and still retaining her looks, wit and evil charm after all these years. Erica will no doubt be around for a long time to come.

I had the pleasure of meeting her while she was filming a commercial for Diet Dr Pepper several years ago and she was very gracious.

I have watched All My Children for several years. I have always loved Susan's style wardrobe and hair she is pure class. I cried when she won her emmey and have all the articles. She was so gracious, and such a lady all the years she should have won and didn't. This is the only show I watch I tape it and watch when I get home from work.

Susan Lucci is the most talented and obsolutely gorgeous star on tv. She has it all - charm, sex appeal, brain, and longevity. She is a legend and the star.

Her Erica Kane is an icon..though campy...she is the most memorible character in the history of daytime TV and known to a world wide audience. Every great soap has a King and a Queen, Erica is deffinetly AMC's QUEEN! She is the Grand Dam of her craft, a woman who acn be loving and kind and hateful and vindictive! What a shame her peers are so jealious of her as to not give her the credit due her. I am so glad that she was finally honored with, and has long deserved an emmey and it was so great to see her finally get that overdue acknowledgement! What a joy!

Susan is the greatest person. I really do strngly believe that she is ABC daytime and that it wouldn't be the same without her.

I love Erica Kane, she is the greatest; her wit, her attitude, her ambition. She is by far the best thing about All My Children. Susan Lucci portrays her perfectly. I think that Susan is a wonderful actress and has brought much more attention to daytime than any other actor. Sure Susan could have tried to move on from AMC and gone for the movies or television. However I think she went the smart way because if you think about it, how many 5'0 actresses with brown hair get hired. Her name is and always will be associated with daytime television and if she succeeded in making her name a household name, then I think she's done a pretty good job!!!

I find that her character, Erica Kane, is not to be taken seriously as drama. Erica Kane is pure satire on human evil. Susan Lucci is truly a comedienne in her role.

She simply annoys me (in and out of character). Sure, she deceives, cries, is passionate and overbearing..but after seeing interviews, I am not sure that this is acting. So I would have to say she is a terrible actress.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I would think that in the hierarchy among actors, daytime TV is the lowest on the totem pole. While many get their start there, the really talented ones move on to primetime and movies. Susan Lucci's long run only proves to me that she is a very mediocre actress who was never able to land a better gig.

Well, she finally won her Emmy award - now we can all forget about her and she can retire. Her character is not very interesting any more. She needs to hang out with her daughter a little bit more on the show so she will start eating again.
