Heather Graham has written some wonderful, memorable books. Her "One Wore Blue, One Wore Gray" series is quite good, although using the same "framing" set-up to tell the story does get a bit old. (The story starts in the middle at a critical point and then goes back to the beginning...) I was relieved to find that some of her other books didn't use this approach--but am also having trouble remembering them. Hmmm. Anyway, she gets an 8 out of 10 on my scale.

The books follow the descendants of the McKenzie brothers. Well worth collecting if you get hooked on the characters as I did (especially JAMES McKENZIE).
