    The Masters of Science Fiction series is a series of six episodes from writers such as Robert A. Heinlein, Harlan Ellison and Howard Fast and are presented in a format similar to The Outer Limits. It also features well known actors who fans of the genre will recognise such as Malcolm McDowell, James Cromwell, Terry O'Quinn and more. A Clean Escape The first of this collection of short stories starts with a post-apocalyptic tale based on a story by Nebula Award winner John Kessel. Personally this is one of my favourites in this series because of the way the story is told and you're left guessing what is actually going on for so much of the episode. We're introduced to a psychologist and her patient as she tries to force the patient to remember his past - but it appears he is unable to remember anything past a certain point in his life and can only remember what's actually happening around him for no more than an hour.
