SHE ACTS SO DITSY!

I was never really that impressed. I'll be honest, I haven't seen too many examples of her performance abilities other than friends, though I have seen a few.  But I will admit that her annoying characther of phoebe was not entirely her fault (thanks to writers) but i don't think she helped her case much.

She probably ought to call the FDA. Peroxide causes brain damage. She has her fans, however.

She is incredibly talented. For an example of her versatility, check out her narration of the audiobook Secret Confessions of the Applewood PTA. I loved the Comeback. It got better with each episode. I was dissappointed it ended after the first (only) season.

yeah she is pretty annoying though, but shes underrated considering who she was with on friends (jennifer aniston, courtney cox)...shes still pretty hot

Totally annoying. I didn't like her in Friends and I watched The Comeback and she was even worse. Maybe it's the permanent sneer on her face.

She was great on Friends and she really showed what she could do in The Opposite of Sex and Happy Endings. I hope she gets more opportunities like this to show that she is not just Pheobe Buffay.

Lisa Kudrow is one of my favorite actors and I just love her in Friends. I think she's really good.

I love Lisa Kudrow, She is a wonderful actress who can play any role she's given. I have never seen her do poorly. If anybody is interested in seeing an actress who can make you laugh and cry. Watch a few things with Lisa Kudrow. Even if you don't like FRIENDS, you'll like Pheobe (Lisa Kudrow)!

Lisa is fabulous. I love her character on FRIENDS. I wish she got better roles to show how talented she really is.

A great actress who does just as good on the big screen as she does on television. I have always been impressed with her character on FRIENDS, and have yet to see a bad movie with her in it. EXCELLENT.

Lisa Kudrow is hilarious. She made me laugh in the show Friends. (And I don't really even care for the show) When she was in Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, She really was funny. I hope to see her in Marci X.

I think she's a fox and way more attractive than Jennifer Aniston. Also the only 'Friend' that acts against type, being actually the least ditzy off screen.

She became my favorite "Friend" when I found out she played varsity tennis.

The most under-appreciated actress on Friends. Beautiful, intelligent (hey, it ain't easy playing a dummy!) She and Joey are the highlights of that show.

i think Lisa Kudrow is awesome because i think Pheobe is MY tv alter ego. because at first you think she's ditzy but she's actually wise in a twisted way. Pheobe is my second favorite on Friends next to Joey.

Other than her role on "Friends", what else has she done that really makes her a good actress? I've always considered Phoebe to be a rip-off of Rose from "The Golden Girls" anyway.

She's hilarious on Friends but I would like to see her portray a character with a little more intelligence. I believe that she is capable of portraying different characters but she will always be remembered as the ditzy blonde on Friends. Even after the show has ended.

Of all the so-called Friends, Ms. Kudrow easily has the best acting chops - see The Opposite of Sex, if ya don't believe the MooCow(shame on you!). It feels as if her wafer-thin role on Friends is hemming her in from showing off her real capacity for acting. She is very cute, in an icy blonde kind of way, but her ability to generate sincerity from all her chaaracters marks her as someone who may step beyond the bounds of cowventional tv actresses.

I know she gets a lot of pub for being the funniest of the 3 chicks on Friends, but to me she is the least funniest. Her brand of neurotic humor I just dont like. I have not seen her in any movies. Has she been in any of note?

I think that Lisa is an incredibly sweet actress. She's really very, VERY interesting in friends, and very weird as for that. But she puts across the character simply fabulously. I feel that she deserves much more recognition than she's been getting

according to what I've read in other sites, she is the business savvy star of friends, negotiating all time high per episode salaries. She may not do it forever - but she has done it longer than 99% of secondary characters in recent television history. sometimes the actor is so good you think you hate the person not the character. I originally thought Oliver Reed was a horrible actor - but seeing him in Ken Russels Devils made me rethink it. in my opinion lisa k pulls off the same thing with the phoebe persona

I may be more wrong than right but Lisa Kudrow seems like a one dimensional actress. Her role in Friends as the ditzy Phoebe seems to have solidified the audience's perception of her as an airhead in REAL life. Perhaps that's why the characters she portrayed in such movies as Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion and Lucky Numbers bore striking resemblances to her TV persona. I don't think any movie director would consider approaching Lisa for a serious movie role in a drama. It would be nice if Lisa could show us her intelligent side, don't be shy!

Like many other type cast actors, Lisa Kudrow has taken "dumb ditsy blonde" to an all time high. Difference is she came along at the right time, right place and has been able to use that character type to go from one project to the next (anyone remember Lisa as the absent minded waitress in the sitcom "Mad About You" before her part on Friends came about)from television to movies. Like Sam Malone of "Cheers" and Frazier Crane of the same title, Lisa has embraced her character and is riding it for all it is worth. Wether she breaks out of that stereotype or not, I think she is awesome, beautiful, glamorous, witty, and getting richer by the epsiode. She rates a 10 plus on my babe-O-meter.

She needs to try something different, all her characters seem to be like Phoebe, and yes i have seen the opposite of sex.

She is an actress right? Why doesn't she do it right. She overdoes her role on Friends, and it just pisses me off. She acts like a little eight year old girl instead of an attractive, intelligent, and respectable young woman. I really wish she would play more mature roles, because she can only do the Friends thing for so long.
