Zeta-Jones so far outshined Renee in Chicago that it was rather pathetic. Renee was just a weak character - the acting and her character.

Renee, you've replaced Alvin and Simon as my new favorite chipmunk. Bridget Jones had a nice ass.

I think Renee is way over rated and I am not sure why she gets the attention she does. Every thing I have seen her in has been just ok, I know very little about the Briget Jones franchise but the accent was not that great.

The one thing I have to give Renee: she's interesting. Her characters are always intriguing.

Probably the most obvious example of a person who has sold there soul to the devil. Can't act, certainly can't sing and dance (believe me, musical purists went and watched 'Chicago' for camp value only - Renee dances like old people hump) She benefits from the U.S. high school mentality in which the captain of the cheerleading team is the best looking girl in school - even if her face could stop a clock. This is a mentality that extends well past high school for Americans. Renee is called pretty despite her doughy, pasty looks and eyes that resemble piss holes in the snow - because the public has been ordered to regard her as such. Julie Roberts benefits from the same phenomenon.

She proved her versatility with Cold Mountain - stellar performance. I could do without Bridgette Jones but even still the acting was good.

She's okay. I can't really say I enjoy all of her acting. She was okay in some of her stuff, but in other's, her acting is almost cold.

She has more range than you would expect. She was equally convincing as the British Bridget Jones and as the hillbilly character in "Cold Mountain".

I guess I'm in the minority here. . .Zellweger is vastly overrated to me. The Hollywood PR machine has made her almost critic-proof although I think her alleged 'good' performances weren't nearly as good as advertised.

Great girl! Acts more than good, looks nice (when she adds a few pounds to her tiny body) and has the sexiest husband one can get!!! Just doing fantastic!!!!

Great actress and great in The Cinderella Man, The James J. Braddock Story as Braddocks wife Mae Braddock. She really nailed the role as the stuggling, suffering wife and mother. I think she's a beautiful woman as well, with very unique features.

I would really give her a 4.5. Renee is showing to be a great actress. I have seen her in many roles and she is good in all of them. I think the first one was Jerry MaGuire,as the girl who ended up being his wife. I liked her in Bridget Joneses diary. And one True thing with Meryl Streep. I thought she did a great job as Roxie in Chicago. In the last few years she has proven herself as a good actress. Update: I am looking forward to watching Cinderella Man this summer. AND congratulations to her on her wedding to Kenny Chesney. she seems like a nice lady...I wish them the best.!!

Doesn't show me a thing. Always looks like she's either been crying or is in the process of crying. Perhaps she realizes she can't act, and that's where the tears are coming from. Keep that agent of yours on a battleship chain, 'cause he's all you've got in Tinseltown.

She's an okay actress, but why does she always smile like that? In virtually every photo of her she looks like she needs to take a massive power-sh*t & trying desperately not to let on.

OK actress and probably overrated. Was good in Jerry McGuire, but I dont buy her as an English chick. Saw a picture of her from High School and she looked very ordinary. Shows what make-up and stardom can do for you. Down With Love was awful. If she could play a bad guy or do a good job in an action movie I'd warm up to her more.

I think she's great. I heard that she will be playing Janis Joplin in a movie soon. I can't picture her as Janis at all so if she pulls that off I will be really impressed.

Amazing! I never would have thought she could inspire so many adverse reactions? I have to admit, her whiny whimpy character in Jerry McGuire made me want to vomit (she should have just kicked Jerry to the curb, he was so far up his own butt), but have you not seen her in Cold Mountain, Down with Love and Bridgette Jone's Diary? I really rate Renee: she, unlike alot of the other ice princesses that grace our screens and can no longer frown, let alone squint due to all the botox, is not afraid to look unglamourous, silly or vulnerable in the roles she plays, and I find that quite endearing. Anyway, I'll leave you all to your own opinions, but Renee rocks, and she'll continue to get better with age I am sure.

This woman doesn't act she just whinges and whines all day long. Shes downright annoying and was TERRIBLE in Chicago. She still needs to find her voice. Coldmountain was one of her best roles to date and even then she still managed to do what she does best.....WHINGE AND WHINE!!!

This is one horrible actress. She makes me feel like vomiting when she acts. If you really want to see her idiotic side just watch her in an interview and you will find out just how silly and idiotic she can be. She is great at squinting and pouting. And like someone else said she is clingy and whiny.Just Awful!!!!! Her roles are basically the same and her acting stinks. If it were possible to give her a zero or negative rating then I would do it. How can anyone like this woman????

Renee is one of those strange actresses who think squinting is an emotion. She might be trying to show anger, sadness, love, happiness, but it all just comes out as squinting. Not good at all.

Renee is very talented and sweet--down to earth. She's also very pretty. She can act, sing, and dance--everything but save that terrible Jerry Maguire movie. I've read articles about what a nice and sensible and kind person she is.

I'm so surprised people like Renee! I'm not a fan of hers but I think she had a great performance in Cold Mountain.

She is gorgeous and cute. She has a cute accent. Chicago was a very good movie not only because of the wonderful Catherine but because Renee was just right for Roxie!

I don't find her impressive as an actress. I just find her mediocre. I've yet to see her actually put emotion into playing her movie roles. (Besides The "Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Next Generation".) I don't find her very talented. She can't sing and dance, I know that. In Chicago, She was extremely irritating. But I did like her as Jenny in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. She really made you think she was going to die.

I've yet to see anything special in her. Just a nice lady actress.

Renee seems to be a nice girl and a down to earth person, and she's getting 2 stars because she's from Houston (where I'm living now). However, as an actress, she lives A LOT to be desired. Her characters are so unbelievably underdeveloped and bland, and I really can't tell the difference between her role in "Nurse Betty" or "Me, Myself and Irene". There's no difference at all to me. Unless she shows me that she can seperate her personality from the role in which she plays, she won't be regarded highly in my book.

Ok, Ok, I'll admit that I used to not like Renee Zellweger, because she always looked so pouty and unbelieveable...then came along "Bridget Jones's Diary." Albeit BJD is a chick-flick, I have to admit, it was hilarious and so true-to-life in many circumstances. She was phenomenal in this movie. Great job!

She's a good actress and arguably one of the best in the not-quite-middle aged group of the current A list. But what is it with those weird facial expressions? The shots of her at the Oscars made me worry she was getting ready to have a stroke.

I have found her to be a pretty good actress. I think that her strong point IS her seewt personality on screen and the fact that she is a Traci lords sort of hot.

No, she's not hot in a "omg, I gotta have her" sort of way. She's just adorable....the kind of girl I'd like to marry. I hated "Jerry Maguire", so to mention her performance in that would be a bit unfair. I did like her in "Nurse Betty." Awesome stuff out of her in that one.

Just saw the musical "Chicago" what a terrific movie with brilliant acting by Renee Zellweger. This movie deserves Best Picture and above all -- without a doubt Renee deserves the nod for Best Actress!!!!

She is one of my favorite ladies of Hollywood right now. No fake boobs and still so sexy It bothers me. Her charm and blonde girl next door sweetness just makes me want her!! Oh, and shes a great actress too. (Ha) I think shes yet to find a script that helps her along but Jerry Mcguire was her niche! She needs to be playing the demuire yet strong woman who has good love to give.
