A very funny woman. Why is it that her critics can't avoid references to her body shape when discussing her character or abilities?

Show was great before Tom Arnold. Early on I thought it was a show worth watching.

She's nothing more than a fat-assed, foul mouthed, self-admitted former prostitute.

Roseanne if you ever read this, I love your show 'Roseanne' it made me not suck up to people and helped me learn that life is a roller coaster! I think you should try to make a come back to tv. When the show comes out on dvd i am going to buy it. I check your website every week or so!

I didn't have to watch her show for years to know she was a lesbian muff-muncher.

I enjoy the Roseanne show. Yes, she is loud and obnoxious, but sometimes she is funny. Sometimes she's very annoying too. She definitely isn't the worst actress I've ever seen. I do at least give her credit because her humor is brutally honest, and most people just don't know how to handle that.

Well someone must of liked the show because it was in the top 5 for 6 years. if it wasn't for her britney and madonna's kiss wouldn't be on a page of every magazine (she had two women kiss on her show and had a fight with abc to let it air)

"She-devil" was hilarious. And plus the fact that Roseanne suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder makes me feel real sorry for her. Psychological disorders are hard to deal with.

i was real little during when she was popular and stuff but i love the reruns of her show and hearing about how she forgot the words from the american anthem at a football game is too funny. and everyone is just hating on her cuz she's not something you can sit at home and manipulate yourself with unlike every other actress who all look the same.

Poor Roseanne. She could have been a very good actress but I think her personality problems got in the way.

Roseanne continues to crack me up every time I watch her! She was good as her role in her show. A very funny lady!

I am not so sure I would consider her much of an actress. The only role I have seen her do, is herself over and over. IN her TV.roles and her limited movie career,It always seemed to be Roseanne being Roseanne.

One guy I know once described her as "trailer trash wins the lottery". I think her problem goes way beyond that (generally unfair) stereo type. Actually, I think she's probably brilliant on some odd level. After all, she did manage to make it amazingly far considering she broke every rule in the How to Be a Successful Woman in Hollywood book (and maybe because she did). But, I think she's basically more of a mental case than anything else. Her biggest problem, aside from that, is that she just can't manage to keep that dirty laundry in the laundry basket where it belongs - she just doesn't seem to realize that we were really never interested in seeing or smelling it.

This woman is a walking nightmare, the opposite of everything a woman of character should be.

i dislike her appearance, it might sound facetious but that's why actresses are selected, she might fit her role on her show decently but it makes me cringe to see her.

These women are pigs. Oh I forgot, there is only one of her despite her rotund nature. There are still people all around the world laughing at our country from her defacing of the National Anthem. For that show of hers, a don’t give a crap, won’t clean the house, raising delinquent children sorry excuse for a family program. BAAAH!!! What an annoying person, from the way she looks sounds and thinks.

I think her show is very funny, I watch it every chance I get. She is crass and loud, because she is an original. It's part of a character. I've never seen her talkshow, but from what i read here I'm guessing it's not very good. I'm surprised at all the fat bashing and stuff on this site. People can criticize her acting if they want to, but don't make fun of her cause she's fat. That's just low.

Roseanne is one hell of a funny lady. I loved her show, both of them actually. And when she played the devil, she was really funny too.

Maybe she is the "She-Devil", sort of. Her now defunct shows, her talk show and "Roseanne", weren't that good but not bad. At least not "The Martin Short Show" bad. Her talk show didn't last long and didn't have a lot of potential in the first place. Second her formerly popular show Roseanne was although offensive, funny, sometimes. Her movie, "She-Devil", now in heavy rotation at Comedy Central, was no "Sleepless in Seattle" but hey it beats "Autumn in New York" and "Sweet November". This big lady's biggest flaw is her attitude. Although she's shed a few pounds, she could use an attitude adjustment. From her "National Anthem" crotch grab to her foul little mouth, she definately ain't no Katherine Hepburn!

I would give this no good *^%^%^ a negative number. How could anyone think this #$%@% is a star????

I feel that anyone that is offended by Rosaanne is scared of them selves and are jelious that she can be that free with her self. She was an awsome actress and should have gotten 4 full stars. She looks better then ever and she get's my thumbs up!! ROCK OUT ROSEANNE!!!!!

can't believe she's even here.her show used to be decent (1 st few episodes) then her writers fell flat.i don't mind her looks (well, when she was younger),but what realy iritates me is the voice. someone here commented about why john goodman stayed with show...because he's about as bad as roseanne

How could any American based company sponsor her shows and pay her the money she commands???? What a waste of money and TV air time.

Roseanne created the best, most realistic comedy series in the history of TV. What she endured to give us this show, most people are unaware of, showed what guts & determination she had. Just for her TV series she gets a 5 star rating, and all the hi-jinx she's always involved in are basically for fun. Give this great lady a break !

John Goodman must have been a saint to stay on a show with her for so long..she is a fat-ass pain in the ass, slightly more annoying than Rosie...but, other than that i think she is great.

Obnoxious, fat, and ugly, with a horrid talk show and a voice more annoying than that uncle who always crashes the family reunion. Her sitcom was never funny so much as it was convolutedly preachy and representative of all the "family values" we should avoid.

Never like her. I also think her "Roseanne" show suck big time. Can never understand why it could run in tv for a long time. She can't act, and is really annoying.

Can she even be called an actress? No matter how many people she hires to tackle her image problems, she will ALWAYS be crass and dreadful to watch. Nails on a blackboard.
