Truly unique beauty that can be very hot, depending on how she is made up.  I love her as Laura Croft in Tomb Raider and have heard she may play Catwoman in an upcoming Batman series movie which is a part MADE for her.  Still, she's got all those tatoos, wrecked Brad Pitt's and Jennifer Anniston's marriage, and runs around doing weird things like adopting strange kids from around the world and having kids of her own.  I hear her former husband, Billy Bob Thornton, thinks she is a beeyatch so I believe there are some attitude issues there.   She keeps adding layer upon layer of complexity to her life and I do wonder if she -- as with any Hollywood married person -- can keep her marriage going or if we may one day see her in Splitsville with Brad Pitt.  She's controversial but still, smokin' hot as long as she keeps up her looks.

What is so great about her?  She can't act and she's a homewrecker- what else do I need to say?

I would have to agree with Limpin' Trenchfoot on this one. I haven't seen her in too much because what I have seen in her hasn't exactly been stellar. I hate to focus on looks, but, let's face it, that's the coin of the realm in Hollywood these days, and Angelina's are strange, in my opinion. Certainly not ugly, but with that oversized head and pillow lips, she looks...strange. Unfortunately, this is where we are as a culture these days in America. Instead of Bogart and Bacall, we've got Pitt and Jolie. Instead of Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison, we've got Justin Timberlake and Bon Jovi. Instead of Lenny Bruce and George Carlin, we've got Carrot-top. Instead of Edward R. Murrow, we've got Katie Couric. Instead of Roosevelt, we've got Dubya. I could go on and on, but it's early in the day yet, and why depress myself more than I have to?

One of the most overrated Hollywood stars ever. Lookswise she doesnt light my candle thanks to the overinflated lips and all those tatts but in an age where most A listers are pretty ordinary looking I guess she stands out...slightly. Viz acting  her resume isnt particularly impressive with quite a lot of straight to DVD efforts and braindead blockbusters like Mr and Mrs Smith, Alexander, Tombraider.

the obvious - shes very attractive, other than that, quite annoying. acts like she wants to be private and shes quiet and all serious, yet she keeps doing things that obviously get attention. a little hipocritical. travels to africa and other less fortunate places to act like and equal and so charitable and caring of the people yet her and big brad pitt stay at a resort that costs a ridiculous amount of money every night. a little contradictive, ya think. the money they spend on their housing when they travel to these places could do a ton for the poor who live there. its also aggrevating how they act like america is some bad place with tons of inpurities and misconceptions in its society...and it is but this is also the place tha made them the rich and famous people they are today....and the last thing is the whole adopting..if your so in love with being a mother and yeah its great to adopt, why dont you have more of you own? be a real woman..what, she doesn't want to screw around with her body an inturn her looks which is such a big part of her fame maybe? seems like theres the possibility she is just as caught up in our societies focus on body image and its importance.

Nice try Coco, but lets look at the facts, shall we.. Lets see, broke up a marriage,,she's an unwed mother, living with a guy who's not her husband, and in her craziness she legally changed her childrens last names to this mans, who again, couldn't be bothered to marry the girl. I don't care how much money she donates or whatever, it will never be enough to make up for the kind of person she is inside. Honestly, if she was a girl in your office or your town, instead of an over-paid, over-publicized actress with good bone structure, you'd be calling her a whore. If you deny that, your no better than she is. And yes, I used to think she was an okay actress, even liked her in Gia, but when she goes and puts her private life on Primetime telling the world she's doing it to bring attention to the plight in Africa and tries to portray herself as a role model for young girls, she's gone waaaaay too far. I was taught that when you do charity work, unless you do it anonymously, your doing it for the wrong reasons,, just trying to make yourself look good. And that girl can't give a dime to charity without telling the world about it..that's the kinda person she is.

Angelina Jolie is AMAZING. She is one of the most beautiful people in the world, and her acting skills are incredible. Those of you who say she's ugly, please, don't kid yourself, u kno ur just jealous. And those of you that claim u really don't like her lifestyle or what she does, then get a life of ur own, why are u even on her bitching about the people you don't like? I find Angelina Jolie's life accomplishments and theories fascinating. She's done some weird stuff, but at least she's brave enough to experiment. I love her. And I don't think she's a homewrecker, because if those guys had really loved their wives, they wouldn't have even left in the first place. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but if ur gonna have a bad opinion about someone, at least think or do some research first.

Their seems to be no middle ground with this actress, you either love her or you hate her. I love her acting skills. Rarely do you find an actress today who is extrordinarly beautiful and can act at the same time. Her performance is very good in girl interrupted, very believable. But her best performance to date in my opinion was in Alexander. Her performance in this movie was one of the best i have ever seen. Truely a great actress. If you focus on her on acting ability and not her personal life or beliefs, then you will see her for her exceptional ability as an actress.
