08/04/2008 | This "sport of kings" will give you one of the most powerful natural highs out there. It'll probably take you years to just "stand up" but when you'll catch a real long wave...You'll be hooked! it'll be too late to go back to your old boring habits and that's all you'll want to do! Be careful! Can you handle a whole lifetime of commitment to just getting good waves?

03/05/2001 | There's something spiritual about surfing. Maybe it's the connection that it makes you have with the ocean, maybe it's the sense that you are moving with something larger than yourself when you are on a wave, maybe it's the natural beauty that most surfing spots possess. From a purely physical aspect, it is also intensely satisfying. It requires skill, it makes you stronger, and the feeling of standing up on your board is amazing. Five stars.
