07/26/2003 | I admit I have been pretty rough on no talent pretty boys so far, but of all of them, Freddie Prinze is probably the worst. Unlike most of them, he seems like he's probably an alright guy offscreen, maybe even a little self-deprecating because of the way he carries himself, but he cannot deliver lines to save his soul. He's the male Julia Stiles - probably cool in real life but should never have gone into acting, the only profession where incompetence will not get you fired.

05/10/2003 | I personally think that Freddie Prinze Jr. has talent, but he has yet to exhibit it. All he has played in so far are films which appeal to the young teenyboppers who consider him to be a great actor simply because of his looks. Looks do not make a man a good actor. Depth, believability and range do. I got a taste of Prinze's true talent when I saw the crime drama, "Vig", in which he gave a wonderful performance. I think that he would be able to make it just fine in drama films if he would simply commit himself to it. Unlike Josh Hartnett, he has yet to transition from that "teen" actor stereotype.

04/09/2003 | Oh my, I think 'actor' is a rather kind word to call Freddie. No offense to anyone who likes the guy or his acting, but he is terrible. He is solely going by on his looks, which to me aren't that great anyway, and he has not real acting talent. The guy better get some acting lessons soon, because he won't be able to play the teenager for long and he can't rely on his trusty teen audience anymore. I definately do not see a long career for him, he does not have what it takes to sustain one. All his movies are carbon copies of each other, just with different names and he's constantly playing the same character over and over again. He plays himself basically, that's why he doesn't deserve to be labelled an actor.

09/26/2001 | Is everybody rating him on his looks, or acting abilites? He is a really bad actor, who seems like he can't read that well because of the movies he has agreed to do. How on earth could anybody sign up to do Wing Commander? That's just for starters. His acting resume include: Summer Catch, Head Over Heels, Boys an Girls, Down to You, She's All That (probably his best movie, yikes), I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, Sparkler, I Know What You Did Last Summer, To Gilliam on Her 37th Birthday, and the up and coming, corny sounding movie Scooby Doo. Can't wait till that comes out. I will give him credit for engaging SMG, how he ever lured in the beautiful and talented Sarah Michelle Gellar, I don't know.

04/07/2001 | The guy's got skills, I can tell. However, I haven't seen him at his best. I'd really like to see him in another type of movie (besides the romance comedies). He should star in a drama (and I mean hard core) drama movie someday. When he does, and I am convinced that he deserves to be in Hollywood, I'll come back here and change the rating to a 5 happily.

I have seen almost all of his movies and he has the capabilities to be a comedic actor and a serious actor. He is amazing and a kind person off-screen. There's alot of girls out there that say they love him, but how can they say those words if they don't know the person, if they haven't felt what he's feeling, or been there with him or anywhere with him. 02/14/2000 | I think he has the talent. He just hasn't found a good role that can let him really show how good he is. With his cute, kind-boy look, he's perfect for the good-man roles. It would be interesting to see him be the bad guy. I've seen him in "To Gillian on her 34th Birthday," and think that he did a nice job there. If only he could find that one perfect role, he could be the next-best-thing in Hollywood.
