Recent reports seem to indicate that McCain is essentially giving up on his chances to win in Colorado, New Mexico and Iowa. Instead he's going to try to make up for the loss of those states by winning Pennsylvania. It's a long shot, a tactical hail mary. McCain is about 10-12 points behind in PA, perhaps some intense advertising and campigning will close that margin up to about 6 points, but I don't see him winning the state. The last Republican Presidential nominee to win that state was George Bush in 1988. McCain needs to follow a two pronged strategy: one, focus on holding Nevada, Florida, Ohio, Missouri and Colorado. Secondly, focus on winning back Virginia and North Carolina, both of which are definitely attainable for the Republicans, instead of going for broke in Pennsylvania, a state that is breaking solidly for Obama. Western PA, along with the Philadelphia suburbs and the area around Scranton and Northeastern Pennsylvania are the areas that are regarded as "up for grabs" and those areas are polling for Obama by 6-12 points. As I see it, there are more fertile areas in the electoral map for McCain that need to be emphasized. He's wasting time and resources by going for broke in Pennsylvania when there are other permutations of electoral college votes that allow for victory. As for the above YouTube video, well, I can't really speak for McCain about that, but I will say that if he wants to make PA competitive, he shouldn't alienate half of the state!

Once again, where is secession from the United States anti-American? Alaska is in the Black with their Budget. The people of Alaska are getting their mineral rights again.https://www.pfd.state.ak.us/When I first saw this list I was thinking it was about John Murtha who called the voters in his Pennsylvania district :"Racists". Then he retracted and called them "Rednecks".

Look, there's plenty of reasons not to vote for this loser, so, whether he hates western Pennsylvania or not is the type of trivial issue that the GOP typically obsesses over. Do the rest of us have to corrupt our intelligence by following suit? Already in this campaign we've heard, day after day, absurd, ridiculous claims made by the failing and desperate McCain campaign about Obama, so, mimicing such idiocy serves no purpose. However, what is interesting is how many concretely documented skeletons there are in the closet of both McCain and his running mate. The McCain campaign, and his supporters, have been dealing in unsubstantiated allegations and unproven innuendos for weeks, but, the Obama campaign, a much classier and dignified effort, has not mentioned at all the Keating Five, Cindy McCain's enduring fondness for goofballs, Troopergate, Palin's association with an anti-American organization in Alaska, the $17,000 in per diems issue, the $21,000 she robbed the taxpayers of that state for unnecessary travel for her family and her apparent tax evasion. All of this crap pulled by the GOP candidates is supported by the public record, an undeniable paper trail. So, at this point, whenever someone of the political midground hears another wild claim from the righthand side about Obama, McCain's chances will continue to get slimmer and slimmer.

Disturbing clip where McCain waffles about his feelings for Western Pennsylvania.I grew up in Southeastern PA and I certainly don't consider my fellow Pennsylvanians in Western PA to be any less patriotic or American than those in Philadelphia. If McCain is in fact trying to mock those in Western PA, screw him. But if he was saying that Western PA is great, I agree. I guess I don't know what to think about this clip.
