09/02/2003 | I never really cared for him, as he always creeps me out. I don't think his acting really convinces me either, but I don't think anyone else could have played his role on 3rd Rock From the Sun any better than he did, and for that I give him 2 stars. Most of his movies are quite bland.

09/01/2003 | He is a very talented actor. I really enjoyed him in Shrek. He did his character perfectly, and, in my opinion, even though he played the bad guy, he (and Eddy Murphy) really stole the show.

05/06/2003 | John Lithgow is an above average actor. I liked his creepy performance in "Twighlight Zone: The Movie". He is quite versatile, and I enjoyed his performance for the most part on "Third Rock from the Sun". Mr. Lithgow is very underrated, and if given the right leading role may be able to make a name for himself in Hollywood.

John Lithgow is most talented actor in Hollywood. He did a good job in being a creepy villain in Shrek or Crazy Dick in 3 from the Sun. I hope John Lithgow would get another TV show or star in more movies

12/11/2001 | The first time I saw Mr. Lithgow was in terms of endearment. I liked him and i have followed him ever since,but third rock from the sun was like a bad joke that kept being repeated.

09/29/2001 | John Lithgow is a genius. He has created a totally different level of humour on 3rd Rock From The Sun, that only he can do. A true genious, and a great actor! Unfortunatelly, he is one of the most underrated actors I know, for it takes an intelligent mind to be able to appreciate his talent...

11/16/2000 | this guy is such a genious. he turns a weeknight half-hour sitcom into an bearable show, which is usually hard to do. plus he can do a very convincing bad guy(cliffhanger), which is also hard to do.
