They're fruity, chewey, colorful, and fun for all ages.Plus some of them actually have dental benefits. They help fight bacteria.I prefer ones that are gelatin free since gelatin has animal tissues in it.Yes, they do make some that are gelatin-free.

On a recent trip to Germany, my friend and I consumed a kilo of Gummi Bears between us in three days. We developed a game in which we would throw the bears to each other and attempt to catch them in our mouths. We actually became quite skilled at it, managing to throw a bear to each other at the same time and both catch them successfully three times in a row. Ever since, the Gummi Bear has become the relic which reminded us of our greatness on that holiday. I still have the 'King of the Gummi Bears', which was one we kept missing, and which eventually got covered in hair, so we welded it to a 5 Euro cents coin.

i suppose there are a couple flavors I would not mind. but these are brutal on the teeth. and maybe because they came along when i was far into adulthood, I never got attached to these candies. my kids may have bought them on occasion but would not be a choice of mine.

They vary from a 1 to a 5 depending on brand. The really rubbery ones with a lot of flavor are great. But there are also the bigger ones with the consistancy of wax that are awful.

I love gummi bears. Clear and red are the best ones. Haribo gummis are STALE, stiff and not good. Just about any other brand will do you if you want them to be soft, smooshy and good.

Gummie Bears are a classic. They are really good, although don't go looking for an overly sweet candy in these little things. Also, I think the soft, almost clear ones are the only ones worth your time. The tough ones are what give Bears a bad rep, they truly are disgusting. However, once you find the right brand, they're a delight. The pineapple (clear) and the cherry (red) ones are by far superior to the other colours...and every package always lacks pineapple!!!
